SNAP Benefits 2022 emergency allotments were extended in some states. The emergency funding is authorized through the Families First Coronavirus Response Act.

Go Banking Rates reported that there will be emergency allotments provided worth $95 or more in additional funds each month, according to Agriculture Department.

Emergency allotments will continue to be available as long as there is a declared public health emergency in the state.

States will have the decision to continue to provide monthly emergency allotments, with public health emergencies that can be extended for 90 days at a time.

As of now, the public health emergency declaration's deadline is on October 13. With that being said, some states are preparing and announcing their SNAP benefits September schedule.

SNAP Benefits Florida

The Florida Department of Children and Families Office of Economic Self-Sufficiency is responsible for the monthly distribution of SNAP benefits in the state. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program in Florida is distributed between the first and 28th of every month.

The SNAP benefits September schedule in Florida depends on the recipients' 8th and 9th digits of their Florida case number after removing the 10th digit.

Another Go Banking Rates report noted that case numbers 9th and 8th digits are 00-03 can receive their benefits on September 1, while those with case numbers 04-06 will have their benefits available to them on September 2.

Case digits with 07-10 will receive theirs on September 3; those with 11-13 will have theirs on September 4, and case numbers with 9th and 8th digits 14-17 will be given their SNAP benefits in Florida on September 5.

18-20, 21-24, and 25-27 case numbers will receive theirs on September 6, September 7, and September 8, respectively.

The scheduling goes on until September 28, with the last case number 96-99.

SNAP Benefits Texas

Texas Health and Human Services Commission has also announced SNAP benefits will be available to state residents in September. Benefits are distributed once a month to recipients' Texas Lone Star Cards, which is the state's own version of the Electronic Benefits Transfer card.

It can be used at major grocery stores, retailers, and any store with a Lone Star Card sign. If the sign is not immediately available, store employees can be asked about it.

The SNAP benefits September schedule for Texas depends on the last digit of the recipients' Eligibility Determination Group number.

The benefits are deposited over 15 days, starting on the first day of every month, as reported by Go Banking Rates.

For SNAP EDG numbers ending in 0 and 1, benefits will be available on September 1 and September 3. For those with 2 and 3 ending their EDG numbers, SNAP benefits are distributed on September 5 and September 6. 

Beneficiaries with SNAP EDG digits ending in 4 and 5 will have theirs on September 7 and September 9. It will then continue on September 11 for those with EDG numbers ending in 6. 

Recipients with EDG numbers ending in 7, 8, and 9, will receive their benefits to their Texas Lone Star cards on September 12, September 13, and September 15, respectively.
