Ricky Martin in New Sexual Assault Allegations, Denies Claims From Nephew
After staving off a sexual assault complaint from his nephew, Puerto Rican music legend Ricky Martin is facing a sexual assault allegation anew. The news comes as Ricky Martin filed a defamation lawsuit against his nephew for falsely accusing him of sexual abuse.
The Associated Press spoke to San Juan police spokesman Edward Ramirez, who told them that the complaint was filed in a precinct in San Juan. Unfortunately, he did not reveal who filed the complaint, nor did he reveal any further details about the details, given the nature of this complaint.
New Sexual Abuse Complaint Allegedly Filed by Ricky Martin's Nephew... Again
While the police would not name the person who filed the complaint, a person who was not authorized to speak about the case told the Associated Press that it is once again Dennis Yadiel Sanchez Martin, Ricky Martin's nephew. He previously filed and later withdrew the complaint and is now getting sued by his uncle for defamation.
The same source also stated that the complaint does not automatically trigger an arrest because the alleged incident is not recent. Police will have to investigate the incident and would have to determine whether or not charges are warranted in this case, given its nature.
Previously, Sanchez Martin tried to request a restraining order against his popstar uncle. However, a judge archived the case after Sanchez Martin himself admitted under oath that he was never really sexually assaulted by Ricky Martin.
According to the LA Times, the "Livin' la Vida Loca" singer is seeking $20 million in damages from his 21-year-old nephew. According to the legal filing, Ricky Martin has been "persecuted, besieged, harassed, stalked and extorted by a maladjusted person."
The suit said the singer's nephew was only interested in obtaining an "economic benefit." Ricky Martin said his nephew is responsible for "reckless, malicious and culpable actions."

Ricky Martin's Attorney Denies New Sexual Assault Claims
Lawyer Jose Andreu-Fuentes talked to People Magazine and released a statement regarding the new sexual assault complaint. He said the new claims are "wildly offensive and completely untethered from reality." He added that the complainant made similar allegations and had his case withdrawn and noted that he had already admitted under oath that the singer never assaulted him.
The lawyer added that after being sued by his client, the complainant is once again spreading his lies. The lawyer also implored the media to stop "giving this deeply troubled individual the oxygen of publicity" and allow him to get the help he needed.
Dennis Yadiel Sanchez Martin is the son of Ricky Martin's sister. In his first complaint, his name was not revealed but was outed by his other uncle, Eric Martin.
