Johnny Depp and Joelle Rich are dating, according to Fox News Digital. Rich is a married lawyer representing Depp in his defamation claim in the U.K. against a newspaper that called him a "wife-beater."

Depp filed two separate lawsuits after his marriage to Heard ended in 2017. He initially sued The Sun in June 2018 after the newspaper published an article on his role in the "Fantastic Beasts" film that dubbed him a "wife-beater." The paper used the allegations of abuse made by Heard before her divorce from Depp in 2016.

After delays due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the trial finally started in July 2020. Four months later, the U.K.'s High Court of Justice ruled The Sun's article was not libelous since the "Aquaman" star's claims about her ex-alleged husband's abuse were "substantially true."

Depp filed an appeal in March 2021, which the court refused. Rich stated at the time that she "seriously questioned" the judgment of the British judge and that her client was looking forward to presenting the absolute, indisputable proof of the truth in the Amber Heard trial, where she will make full disclosure.

Johnny Depp Lawyer, Joelle Rich, Occasionally Meet Up With Him

According to a source, Rich has split up with her husband and is getting a divorce from him. She wasn't on Depp's legal team when he sued his ex-wife Amber Heard in Virginia for defamation, but she was present for part of the six-week trial, which concluded in June.

Rich, a mother of two, was also seen chatting with the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star while on a cigarette break outside the Fairfax County Circuit Courthouse.

U.S. Weekly source said Rich had no professional obligation with Depp then, and she was there personally, "discreetly" meeting up in hotels in the early stages of their relationship.

Rich remained at the Ritz-Carlton in McLean, Virginia, where Depp had gone into hiding throughout the trial. On various occasions, they've dined at The Palm, a steakhouse next door to the hotel.

"Their chemistry is off the charts," the source said. "It's serious between them. They are the real deal."

Johnny Depp Was Even Rumored to Be Dating Camile Vasquez

Earlier, Depp and his attorney, Camille Vasquez, were rumored to be dating. Vasquez was one of Depp's primary defense attorneys throughout his six-week Amber Heard trial, NDTV reported.

Vasquez, on the other hand, rejected the rumors. She stated that her clients are really important to her.

Vasquez explained that it's just part of being a woman performing her job. She also expressed regret that some news sites claim that her dealings with Depp, whom she has represented for four and a half years, were inappropriate or unprofessional.

She also mentioned that she is in a relationship and that she and her partner are very happy together. She said that dating a client is unethical for a lawyer. "It's unfortunate and disappointing, but it comes with the job. "I can't say I was too shocked, "she added.
