Tom Brady Reveals How His Life Is After Painful Divorce From Gisele Bündchen
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen finalized their divorce last October 28 on amicable terms. On Thursday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB held his NFL first press conference since it happened, and surely enough, the questions directed towards him were not about football, but about the divorce.
According to CBS Sports, Brady was asked what he has faced over the past week. To this, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback answered that he is just "trying to find the right balance between work and life."
"I've always tried to do the best I could do here [at the Bucs' facility], and then when I leave here, I try to do the best I can do. That's what we all try to do," Brady told ESPN as he talked about those challenges, which included the divorce from his now-ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen.
The Superbowl winner also stated that he is sure that everyone is also "trying to wake up every day doing the best they could do for their families and their career." He added that he is no different and told everyone to just do the best they can do every day.
A Rough Month Overall for Tom Brady
Overall, it had been a very rough month for the winningest player in NFL history, as he not only got divorced, but his team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is now down 3-5 in the standings. His divorce was even announced after a tough loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
The Buccaneers have now lost five of their last six games. This also means that for the first time ever in Tom Brady's long and illustrious career, he has lost five games in a six-game span.
However, Brady does not expect anybody to feel sorry for him. He stated that it is still the middle of the year and admitted that they just have not "played well enough to get our record to a point where we can be super excited about what we're at."

Tom Brady On the Cusp of Reaching Career Milestone
The news about Tom Brady is not all about his divorce from his Brazilian ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, though. Despite generally having a pretty bad month so far, Brady is about to reach a career milestone.
According to Clutch Points, Brady is currently the all-time leader when it comes to both regular season passing yards (86,787) and playoff passing yards (13,049). However, with just 164 passing yards, he might become the first player ever to record 10,000 such yards. This includes both the regular season and the playoffs.
He also touched on this during the press conference, one of the non-Gisele-related subject matters he discussed. He credited multiple teammates who have helped him through the years.
"I think for me it's a credit to all the guys that I've played with, and who have blocked for me, who have caught passes," said Brady during the press conference.
He added that "those things are a great celebration to all those guys." He also said that he would not be able to do anything in the NFL if it weren't for those teammates and that he is very fortunate to play with great players.
