Selena Gomez Apologizes to Francia Raisa Amid "Only Friend" Issue
To clarify her previous comments that Taylor Swift was her "only friend in the industry," Selena Gomez appears to have responded to Francia Raisa's since-deleted comment.
"Sorry I didn't mention every friend I know," Gomez, 30, wrote in the comment section of a TikTok video on Sunday, November 6.
Selena stated in a recent interview with Rolling Stone that Swift was "her only friend in the industry."
"I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn't belong."
Raisa has been close to Selena since 2007, and it appears that she responded to Selena's comment in an Instagram post, per Yahoo.
"Interesting," the Los Angeles resident wrote in a comment later deleted but saved by Pop Crave.

Fans Immediately Reacted to Pop Creve's Tweet
Fans started speculating about the supposed jab in Pop Crave's tweets' replies.
According to Page Six, the wording of the gossip story implied that Selena Gomez was explicitly referring to the "music" industry. Still, given the context of the original Rolling Stone profile, it is unclear whether that is correct.
"What about Francia? I mean, she gave Selena a Kidney," one fan wrote, while another joked, "The way i'd ask for my kidney back."
"Plz this is petty af. Francia could've reached out to Selena in private to clarify what she meant in this interview," a Selena fan stated. "Because clearly she meant that Taylor is the only international superstar/insanely famous person that she's friends with"
Selena Gomez and Francia Raisa's Friendship
Gomez and Raisa have known each other for 15 years. They met for the first time in 2007 when they both went to a children's hospital.
Ten years later, Francia Raisa gave the Disney Channel star one of her kidneys, Us Magazine noted.
"So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health," Selena Gomez wrote in the caption of a September 2017 Instagram photo of her and the former Secret Life of the American Teenager star holding hands in the hospital.
She also stated that she could not thank her beautiful friend enough for giving her an ultimate gift by donating her kidney to her. She also said she was incredibly blessed and loved her so much.
After giving a kidney to Selena in 2018, Raisa spoke openly to Us Weekly about the support she received from fans.
"It's honestly been overwhelming and very amazing. I'm never really open about my personal life, and it's amazing the response I've been getting from people," Francia Raisa told Us in January 2018.
"I'm honestly just honored," she added.
