Former President Donald Trump is reportedly furious over the so-called "Red Wave" spluttering, as many of the candidates he endorsed did not win. However, he was reportedly angriest over TV personality Dr. Mehmet Oz losing his race against Democrat John Fetterman in Pennsylvania, and as many have expected, he is blaming everyone but himself. He is reportedly angriest at his wife, Melania Trump, as well as Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Trump famously said that if the candidate he endorsed wins, he should take all the credit. However, should his candidate lose, then he has nothing to do with that loss. This seems to be the case with Oz, who conceded to Fetterman shortly after it was clear that he would be losing the Pennsylvania Senate race.

According to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, Trump is really furious and was blaming everyone who advised him in endorsing Dr. Oz. Haberman added he is also furious at Melania, whom he says also pushed him to endorse Oz. He said that this was "not her best decision."

The Daily Beast also reported that the former president is also unhappy with his "friend," Fox News host Sean Hannity, who also serves as his unofficial adviser. Hannity is also one of the people Trump thinks pushed him to endorse Oz.

Trump is reportedly "livid" and "screaming at everyone" as more and more of the candidates he endorsed are losing their races. These include gubernatorial candidates in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Some MAGA candidates like Kari Lake and Lauren Boebert are still in the race, but may possibly lose to their Democratic opponents with only just a few votes left to be counted.

Because of the poor showing, several advisers are now asking Trump to reschedule his anticipated November 15 announcement.

Haberman's report was backed up by other sources like CNN's Jim Acosta, Semafor, and Axios' Jonathan Swan. However, when the news broke of his blaming his wife and unofficial adviser for the Oz defeat, Trump quickly blamed the "fake news" media for spreading "lies."

Taking to his Truth Social account, Trump issued a rare apology to Melania and Hannity, saying that the "fake news" media is making "fictional stories."

"There is a Fake Story being promulgated by third rate reporter Maggie Hagaman of the Failing New York Times, that I am blaming our great former First Lady, Melania, and Sean Hannity, that I was angry with their pushing me to Endorse Dr. Oz," he wrote on his right-wing social media platform. The Business Insider pointed out that he misspelled Haberman's name.

Trump also started distancing himself from Oz, stating that Oz lost in part because he did not the peddle election denialism that Trump and his allies usually spread as aggressively as other MAGA candidates. However, it was pointed out that it was the Trump endorsement that gave Oz the victory in the Republican primaries against establishment candidate Dave McCormick. Oz won by less than a thousand votes.
