Tom Brady told reporters that he has "zero" regrets about his NFL return despite the poor start of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and his recent divorce from supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen.

Brady said he returned because he felt like he wanted to compete, adding that he talked to the team about the matter and they were excited to have the NFL star back.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion answered if he had any regrets about his career moves, saying "zero, no. Definitely not," as reported by Page Six.

Brady said when he commits, he means it and he does his best and tries "to give everything" he can do "to this particular opportunity."

He also discussed the Buccaneers' play during their game against Seattle Seahawks in Germany, wherein he noted that it was "frustrating" that they had not played what they were "capable of playing" for a number of different reasons.

However, the topic of his recent divorce was not raised.

Brady and Bündchen filed their divorce after 13 years of marriage shortly after his NFL return.

Tom Brady Opens Up About Divorce

Last month, Brady said on his Sirius XM show "Let's Go!" that he thinks there are a lot of professionals in life who "go through things that they deal with at work and they deal with at home." He added that he was focused on two things, which were taking care of his children and doing the best job he can to win games.

Brady continued to say that professionals focus at work when it is time to work and focus on the priorities that are at home when they come home.

He also talked about some personal sacrifices he has had after playing in the NFL for two decades, saying that he has not had a Thanksgiving and Christmas in 23 years.

Brady went on to say that he has not celebrated birthdays with people he cares about that are born from August to late January.

Brady and Bündchen both filed for divorce, which was finalized on October 28. A judge in Glades County, Florida officially declared the marriage as dissolved and "irretrievable broken."

In February, Brady announced his retirement from NFL. However, he later came back and took an 11-day leave of absence from training camp in August to "deal with personal things."

The two will be sharing custody of their two children, Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9.

Their $20 million real estate are also being divided, with Brady keeping their Billionaire Bunker mansion that was procured in 2020.

The supermodel purchased two new Miami properties amid the divorce, which were an Art Deco-style cottage worth $1.25 million and the recently purchased Indian Creek property worth $11.5 million.

The cottage was bought months before they announced their separation.

Meanwhile, Bündchen will reportedly be able to keep their tropical getaway property in Costa Rica.
