To the Hadid family, what matters most is that Gigi Hadid seems happy with Leonardo DiCaprio. According to an Entertainment Tonight source, her sister Bella Hadid and mom Yolanda Hadid support their relationship, and they think Leonardo is tremendously talented. 

At the end of the day, the insider noted that they "just want Gigi to be happy, support her, and help her be a great mom." The source also told the outlet that "Leo finds Gigi to be gorgeous, super down to earth, and smart" and enjoys "getting to know Gigi better."

According to the source, the two "genuinely enjoy each other's company and connect over a variety of things" and "are both hoping to spend as much time as they can together."

This news came just days after Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid were seen leaving Cipriani restaurant in New York City, where they enjoyed a meal last Friday night.

Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio Started Dating in September

The first reports about Gigi Hadid and Leonardo DiCaprio's alleged romance surfaced during New York Fashion Week in September. There were reports of them hanging out at a loft party in Soho and the renowned Casa Cipriani.

The following month, they allegedly attended a Halloween party in Brooklyn, where Leonardo spent nearly the whole night with a mask over his face. Insiders told HollywoodLife in September that the "Titanic" actor was "pursuing" the single mom, but Gigi was playing hard to get.

A source noted that Leonardo has been pursuing Gigi, so he's "clearly got an interest" in her. However, the insider said Gigi was "playing it very cool because dating just isn't a priority for her right now" since she was busy with her daugher and her work.

Another HollywoodLife insider noted that Gigi "is not considering" introducing the actor to her daughter at this point in their relationship.

The source also said that "she's extremely protective over Khai," adding that Gigi's outlook on dating has radically changed after being a mother. Gigi was previously in a relationship with Zayn Malik, her daughter Khai's father.

Source Says Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid Keeps Spending Time Together in NYC

An insider close to the supermodel told People: "Gigi keeps spending time with Leo in NYC" and "he is very understanding about her being a mom and works around her schedule to see her-it's very sweet. Gigi is smitten."

The source further noted that Gigi had not spoken much about her blossoming relationship, but "she very much enjoys seeing Leo."  The source added that Leonardo is a gentleman and a romantic who wanted to keep "things private" between them like Gigi, ELLE reported.

Another source told ET that Leonardo and Gigi "are the real deal and they've been hanging out a lot and are very into each other."

"Things are going well between them, and they're both happy," the source added.
