Oregon Ducks will have Bo Nix again for another season after the school confirmed the senior quarterback's return to the team for his final year of eligibility.

Nix announced his return to the Ducks in a Sunday night video released by the school dubbed "Bo Is Back."

"There's nothing like a Saturday in Autzen Stadium in front of the best fans in college football. There's nothing like playing for my coaches and going to battle with my teammates. There's nothing like being an Oregon Duck. For 2023, I'm back," Nix said.

According to ESPN, Nix had his most outstanding season as a college player after transferring from Auburn to Oregon and working with quarterbacks coach turned offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham.

Nix accumulated 3,893 yards in total offense throughout 12 games. He led Oregon to a 9-3 record and accounted for 41 total touchdowns (27 passing and 14 on the ground).

On December 28, the Ducks will play North Carolina in the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl. Nix's choice to run it back is good news for an Oregon squad that will be among the nation's best once again despite Dillingham's departure to become Arizona State's head coach.

The Ducks will be favored to win the Pac-12 and make a run at the College Football Playoff for the first time since 2014 if Bo Nix continues to start at quarterback.
