Novak Djokovic will go up against Gilles Simon in the third round of the Wimbledon Championships, while Andy Murray will resume his title defense when he faces Roberto Bautista Agut in Day 5 of Wimbledon on Friday.

Djokovic, the top-seeded players in the tournament, kicked his campaign with an impressive 6-0, 6-1, 6-4 win against Andrey Golubev, which was followed by a hard-earned victory over Radek Stepanek 6-1, 6-3. 6-7(5), 7-6(5).

Looking to capture his second Wimbledon title, Djokovic has faced Simon seven times before, and has won in six of those matches. Their most recent meeting happened during the 2010 David Cup Final, where Djokovic ran away with a 6-3, 6-1, 7-5 win against his French counterpart.

Meanwhile, defending champion Murray will look to pick up where he left off in his first two assignments in the tournament.

The third-seeded Murray kicked off his campaign with a win against David Goffin of Belgium 6-1, 6-4, 7-5 and followed it up with an easy 6-1, 6-1, 6-0 win against Blaz Rola of Slovenia in the second round.

Murray will be a heavy favorite heading into their third-round showdown, but the third-seeded Briton knows that he needs to be at his best in order to advance to the next round of the tournament, saying that Agut is expected to go all out to score an upset.

"He has been improving a lot in the last couple of years, playing at this level," Murray said via The Guardian. "He has never really got stuck at a ranking - he has kept moving up. It will be a tough match for me."

Agut, who is coming off a win against Jan Hernych 7-5, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 in the second round, expressed no fear in his upcoming showdown with Murray, saying the he can go the distance against his heavily-favored foe.

"I'm not scared," Agut said via BBC Sports. "I will try to play my game. I am winning a lot of matches. I will try to be aggressive, to play my game. I feel good playing from the baseline. I have good returns. I feel well physically. I feel good on the long matches."
