Police in Romania seized 11 luxury cars from disgraced influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan after arresting them on charges of rape and human trafficking late last month.

According to Insider, local Romanian media reported that a Rolls-Royce and an Aston Martin were among the seized cars.

Ramona Bolla, a spokesperson for the DIICOT investigations agency in Romania, confirmed to Insider on Wednesday that the Tate brothers' cars have been seized and impounded.

She noted that these vehicles were held to "sustain the cost of the investigation" into the former British kickboxer.

Bolla added that these cars would also be used as collateral for any payments that would be awarded to their alleged victims.

Romanian news outlet Gândul published several photos of the seized vehicles, including a Rolls-Royce Wraith and an Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate.

The Wraith reportedly costs at least $300,000, while the Aston Martin costs around $250,000. The New York Post reported that a $2.9 million Bugatti Chiron was also among the seized vehicles. 

Tate used his car collection to taunt climate activist Greta Thunberg, saying he emits "enormous emissions" through his luxury vehicles and will not apologize for it. 

Thunberg then replied by saying, "yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalld**kenergy@getalife.com."

DIICOT is now working to establish if the Tate brothers purchased these luxury cars through their sex trafficking business.

Tate allegedly lured several women from the United States and the United Kingdom into Romania, where the women were sexually exploited and often forced to perform pornographic acts.

Andrew Tate Investigated on Suspicion of Rape in 2015

Vice News reported that Andrew Tate was arrested in 2015 over allegations of sexual assault and physical abuse in the U.K.

Two women, who talked to the outlet, said Tate raped one of them while he repeatedly strangled the other.

They then accused the U.K. police and Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) of mishandling their case. The police allegedly took four years to hand over the case to the CPS, which decided not to prosecute the then-kickboxer.

As the investigation continued, Tate was a contestant in the reality show "Big Brother" in 2016. The show's producers were allegedly informed by police about the investigation but kept him on the show for at least five more days. 

Channel 5, which aired "Big Brother," noted that they removed Tate due to the investigation. Through his lawyer in Romania, Tate has denied these allegations.

Andrew Tate Also Allegedly Runs a Pyramid Scheme

Aside from rape and human trafficking, Andrew Tate is also accused of running a pyramid scheme called Hustlers University.

It is allegedly marketed as a subscription service that teaches men to become an "alpha male" just like Tate and be "rich" like him. 

According to the New York Post, it teaches courses from how to get women to making money in online fields like copywriting, crypto investing, and e-commerce.

The subscription service costs $49.99 a month. However, critics said many of those courses do not really teach anybody anything, and its practice of giving members commissions on referrals proves that Hustlers University is just a simple pyramid scheme.
