MAGA Republican and infamous election denier Kari Lake, who recently lost her election bid for Arizona Governor, may be in legal trouble, as Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes pointed out that she may have broken the law.

Fontes asked Arizona state Attorney General Kris Mayes to investigate Lake's potential campaign violation over the disclosure of voter signatures. He pointed to a tweet that Lake posted last week regarding false claims of election fraud in the governor's race.

According to NBC News, the tweet contained a "graphic containing images of sixteen voter signatures." Fontes argued that this violated state law that prohibited a voter's signature from being accessed or reproduced by another person, other than the voter.

Kari Lake's Claims That May Get Her Investigated

The tweet claimed that 40,000 ballots were illegally counted. They were illegal because she claims that they do not match the signatures that are on their record.

"I think all the 'Election Deniers' out there deserve an apology," she wrote in the tweet.

It is part of her many attempts to overturn her 2022 election defeat against the eventual winner, Katie Hobbs. Lake lost by over 17,000 votes.

The Washington Post pointed out that despite losing many of her legal challenges to the election results, Lake continues pushing claims that the elections were stolen. Her latest includes a speech she made at the "Save Arizona Rally" in Scottsdale on Sunday. She vowed to hold public officials accountable and said that the previous election was "botched." She then called Governor Katie Hobbs the "squatter in the governor's office."

Kari Lake Gets into Another Feud, This Time with Democrat Ruben Gallego

Lake is not only attacking Governor Hobbs and the McCain Republicans that never aligned with former President Donald Trump but also Arizona Rep. Ruben Gallego, calling him the "AOC of Arizona" on Sunday night, a clear reference to leftist firebrand Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.

She labeled Democrats, including Gallego, as "bad candidates," and used the House Democrat as a prime example. "Have you seen the latest one they're rolling out? The guy's name is Ruben Gallego. He is the - we call him the AOC of Arizona. And that may actually be an insult to AOC," the Republican said in a rally.

She also compared him to Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman (D) in an apparent insult to the senator's auditory processing issues as a result of a stroke. She said that like Ferrerman, Gallego "could not string three or four or five words together and make a coherent sentence."

However, according to The Hill, Gallego finally pushed back against Lake's jabs, saying, "We call Kari Lake the Kari Lake of Arizona and yes that is an insult."

Gallego announced last week that he is gunning for the Senate seat of former Democrat, Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema.
