Shakira's new song, "BZRP Music Sessions #53," was considered by many as a diss track targeting her ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique. The Colombian superstar's track seems to have taken a hit at the Spanish football legend and his new girlfriend. So, who exactly is Clara Chia Marti? 

In her song, Shakira sang she is "worth two 22-year-olds," likely referring to the age of Pique's 23-year-old girlfriend, Clara, who is rumored to have started seeing the Spanish footballer when she was 22.

That led to a ton of criticism Clara's been subjected to for being the "other woman," and she reportedly suffered an anxiety attack recently because she was under a lot of stress.

Clara Chia Marti Is a PR Student Who Keeps Her Life Private

Unlike Shakira and Gerard Pique, Clara Chia Marti is a very private person. PEOPLE reported that while she does have an Instagram account, she has set it to private and only has about five posts. She also has about 175 followers, including the former FC Barcelona and Manchester United soccer star and family members.

Pique has been linked to Clara after they were spotted together at the Summerfest Cerdanya music festival in August 2022, just three months after Pique and Shakira announced their split.

The two were first spotted in public at a wedding in Catalonia, Spain, walking arm-in-arm and sharing a laugh while also mingling with other guests. Since then, they have been seen traveling and vacationing together in the Czech Republic and France.

According to Grazia magazine, Clara, also from Spain, is a PR student at a reputable private university. She probably met Pique while working in Pique's sports and entertainment production company, Kosmos, assisting in event organizing.

She seems to have come from a wealthy family, as her father is a civil lawyer. However, there are also contrasting reports that she took plenty of odd jobs while still young to support herself financially.

According to rumors, she put herself through college. Pique recently came out on Instagram to make their relationship official by posting a photo of them together even after Shakira lambasted them in her new song. 

Sources close to the 35-year-old soccer star said everyone around the couple has been attempting to keep the relationship private, which implied how serious they are with each other.

According to Sports Manor, Gerard Pique's new girlfriend has managed to insult the 45-year-old Colombian singer. Clara Chia Marti reportedly made fun of Shakira's age by calling her "ma'am."

Clara's family has also hit out at the "Hips Don't Lie" hitmaker over her diss track, making fun of the song. Her parents also reportedly said their daughter will not react because she's a "lady," who has maintained decency throughout the drama. Shakira separated from Pique in 2022 after more than 10 years together. They have two children.

Within the first 24 hours of the release of the "BZRP Music Sessions #53," also known as "Out of Your League" in English, the song broke YouTube records by amassing 63 million views, becoming the No. 1 most-viewed Latin song on the video-sharing platform.
