Netflix made history on Saturday with its first live global streaming event starring Chris Rock. During the show, the comedian finally addressed being slapped by Will Smith on stage at last year's Oscars.

"I'm going to try to do a show tonight without offending nobody. I'm going to try my best because you never know who might get triggered," said the "Saturday Night Live" alum as he opened the show from Baltimore. "People always say words hurt... anybody who says words hurt has never been punched in the face."

After that apparent reference to Will Smith's Oscars slap during Netflix's first-ever live stand-up special titled "Chris Rock: Selective Outrage," Rock did not talk about the incident until the show's final 10 minutes, according to CNN.

The comedian admitted that it still hurts and he 'got 'Summertime' ringing' in his ears. However, he remained resolute, stating, "But I'm not a victim, baby. You'll never see me on Oprah or Gayle crying... I took that hit like [Manny] Pacquiao."

Chris Rock Roasts Jada Pinkett Smith During Netflix Live Special

During the special, Chris Rock also talked about the relationship between Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, saying that the slap was more about their relationship than Rock's joke about Jada being bald.

"Will Smith practices selective outrage," said Rock before adding, "Everybody that really knows I had nothing to do with that s---. I didn't have any 'entanglements'."

That was in reference to when Jada admitted during an episode of the actress' "Red Table Talk" to having an "entanglement" with singer August Alsina years ago when she and Smith were on a "break."

However, the actress did admit that the two were able to repair their relationship after, according to People Magazine.

Rock continued talking about the couple's relationship, saying, "We all been cheated on. Everybody in this industry has been cheated on," adding that "none of us have ever been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television. None of us.... Why the f--- would you do that s---? She hurt him way more than he hurt me, okay?"

Chris Rock Calls Will Smith a 'Bitch'

According to Variety, Chris Rock admitted that he got in touch with Will Smith after the "Red Table Talk" episode aired.

He then said, "Everybody in the world called him a bitch. I tried to call the motherfucker. I tried to call that man and give him my condolences. He didn't pick up for me." 

The comedian cited a list of people in Hollywood who called the actor a "bitch" before saying, "Everybody called him a bitch and who does he hit? Me, a n---- he knows he can beat. That is some bitch-ass s---." 

The comedian also insinuated that this feud between him and the couple may have started with the 2016 Oscars when Jada Pinkett Smith called for a boycott during the "Oscars so White" incident when there were no black nominees.

The comedian noted that Jada tried to ask him not to host the 2016 Oscars cause Will did not get nominated for 'Concussion," but he ignored her appeal, and while presenting in that year's ceremony, he made a joke at the actress' expense, which resurfaced following the Oscars slap.

"I did some jokes about her. Who gives a f---? That's how it is: She starts it, I finish it. That's what the f--- happened," Rock said.

He also said that he did not react or respond physically at last year's Oscars slap "because I got parents."

"You know what my parents taught me? Don't fight in front of White people," he added before dropping the mic and getting a standing ovation before walking offstage.
