Chris Rock's "Selective Outrage" special on Netflix has been a huge success as the comedian skewered Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, almost a year after the "Slap Heard Around the World." Now, Will Smith has made his feelings on the special known.

A source with knowledge of the situation spoke with Entertainment Tonight and said, "Will is embarrassed and hurt by what Chris said about him and his family in his Netflix special."

The report indicated that the "Men in Black" star was "upset" that Netflix gave Rock "this platform" to express his views. "Will is also upset that Netflix was a part of this and thinks Chris insulting Jada again is below the belt," the source said.

"He is upset that Netflix gave Chris this platform to share these messages and thinks it's distasteful," he added.

The source confirmed that Will Smith did not watch the special.

"Will is embarrassed and hurt by what Chris said about him and his family in his Netflix special. He didn't watch it, but he had people tell him what Chris said," according to the source.

According to Alabama.com, the "Saturday Night Live" alumni only referenced the "Oscars Slap" in his opening before finally letting loose and skewering Will Smith and his wife in the final 10 minutes of his show. "I got smacked like a year ago... People are like 'Did it hurt?' It still hurts. I got 'Summertime' ringing in my ears. But I'm not a victim, baby. You'll never see me on Oprah or Gayle crying. ... I took that hit like (Manny) Pacquiao," said Rock in the special.

The comedian touched on Will Smith's marital problems with Jada Pinkett Smith in those final ten minutes of the show. He referenced Jada having an affair with a friend of their son. Rock also said the slap might have been more about the relationship between the couple than Rock's "G.I. Jane" joke at the Oscars.

While Smith was upset by the special, Rock himself is now ready to move on from the entire incident now that he has said what he wanted to say during his Netflix special.

Netflix Edited Out Chris Rock's Flubbed Will Smith Joke from 'Selective Outrage'

"Selective Outrage" was history-making for Netflix, as it was the first time the platform streamed something live. However, with live shows, there can be some flubs, and Netflix managed to erase one of Rock's rare flubs from the live stream in the show's final cut.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rock was attempting to tell a joke about his 2016 Oscars hosting gig as well as the 2015 Will Smith film, "Concussion." The comedian reportedly flubbed it, so Netflix edited it out of the final cut.

Some people who watched the show live have also noticed the flubbed joke missing. However, Rock himself knows that Netflix cut out that portion specifically.

Jada Pinkett Smith was known to be angry at the Academy for snubbing Smith for his performance in "Concussion," which touches on head injuries in the NFL.
