Police said a Minnesota mother has been missing for nearly a week under "suspicious" circumstances. Authorities noted that they are investigating whether foul play is involved, ABC News reported.

Police said 26-year-old Madeline Kingsbury was last seen on Friday morning when she and her children's father dropped the kids off at a day care just after 8 a.m. before they returned to their home in Winona.

According to Winona Police Chief Tom Williams, the children's father said he left the house using Kingsbury's van at around 10 a.m., but when he returned later that day, the Minnesota mother of two was not there.

Police said Kingsbury was absent from his work that day. She also did not pick up her kids at the day care that afternoon and did not answer the "numerous" calls and texts from friends and relatives, which is out of character for her.

"We believe Maddi's disappearance is involuntary and suspicious, and we are all concerned for her safety," said Williams.

Her cell phone, wallet, and ID were inside the residence, so Williams noted there was no reason to believe that Kingsbury had just left on foot or in another car.

Surveillance footage obtained by investigators shows a van matching Kingsbury's departing and returning to her home's area between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Williams said.

Currently, authorities cannot comment on who was behind the wheel.

Intensive Search Launched for Missing Minnesota Mother

Investigators are actively looking for the missing Minnesota mother. In a Facebook post, authorities urged residents and landowners to scour their properties, lands, vehicles, and trails for "anything suspicious" that may help find Madeline Kingsbury.

Police also asked anyone who has security footage from March 31, 8 a.m. to April 1, 4 p.m., to look for any possible sightings of a dark blue minivan in the area, PEOPLE reported.

Tom Williams said they are doing everything they can to bring Kingsbury home. 

"We have spoken with many of her family members and friends and are actively following any developing information," he noted. "No stone is being left unturned. And we are using every tool at our disposal to find her."

The Winona County Sheriff's Office, the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office, the Houston County Sheriff's Office, the Southeast Minnesota Violent Crimes Enforcement Team, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are now helping the Winona Police Department in their investigation.

Reward Is Offered for Information to Find the Missing Minnesota Mother

According to La Crosse Tribune, any information leading to the location of the missing Minnesota mother will be rewarded with $50,000.

The reward offered by her family was disclosed in Wednesday's news conference, where additional information regarding the case was also presented.

According to Bonney Bowman, a public information officer for the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, police have not yet named a suspect or person of interest in the case.

Tom Williams assured that the children of the missing Minnesota mother are safe. Kingsbury is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
