Social Security Checks April 2023: When Will You Get Your Money?
The distribution of Social Security checks for April 2023 will start on April 12, following the Social Security Administration's schedule.
The schedule of the release of Social Security checks is usually distributed each month depending on the recipient's date of birth, according to Go Banking Rates.
If the recipient's birthday falls between the 1st and 10th of the month, your payment will be distributed on the second Wednesday, which is on April 12.
Recipients with birthdays falling between the 11th and 20th of the month will receive their checks on April 19, the third Wednesday.
Meanwhile, people who will receive their benefits on the fourth Wednesday will be those with birthdays on the 21st and 31st. The fourth Wednesday of this month is on April 26.

Social Security also releases other checks aside from the Social Security benefits. The agency also distributes checks for other benefits that it offers, such as the Supplemental Security Income.
However, the month of April will not be distributing SSI checks based on their scheduling. Usually, it is distributed every first day of the month.
Since April 1 falls on a weekend, the checks are sent the day before, which was March 31 this year, as reported by AS News.
The exception on the schedule is also applied whenever the designated days fall on a holiday.
The agency sending out early checks will happen two more times in July and October.
CNET reported that people receiving Social Security benefits before 1997 and those getting both Social Security and SSI will have different payment schedule.
Instead of getting payments on a Wednesday, they will be receiving their Social Security payments on the third day of each month and their SSI on the first day of each month.
