Florida Teen, 12-Year-Old Boy Arrested Following Fatal Shooting of 3 Teens
Two minors were arrested following the fatal shooting of three teenagers, who were found in various parts of the Ocklawaha community in Marion County, Florida, last week.
On Friday, Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods said Robert Robinson, 17, and Christopher De'l Atkins, 12, have been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting deaths of the three teenagers, CNN reported.
The sheriff noted that a third suspect, Tahj Brewton, 16, is still at large. According to Woods, investigators determined that the victims and the suspects were involved in burglaries and robberies and affiliated with criminal gangs.
The sheriff noted that it was a betrayal between a group of juveniles that ended in murder.
"Basically, in simple terms, there is no honor among thieves," Woods said in a press conference. "At some point, these three individuals turned on our three victims and murdered them."
Woods said a trail of evidence left behind by the suspects and some public tips helped them develop what they needed to make the arrests.
"Not only are the victims' juveniles, but the murderers are juveniles as well," Woods noted.

The Florida Shooting
The bodies of three Florida teens, two girls aged 16 and a boy aged 17, were discovered with gunshot wounds in three distinct places in Marion County over the span of three days, according to Fox 35.
Sheriff's deputies in Ocklawaha found one of the teen girls lying on the road near Forest Lakes Park on March 30. She was rushed to a hospital after being shot but later died.
Authorities found the boy victim also lying on the side of the road near SE 94th Street with gunshot wounds on March 31. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police found the other 16-year-old victim in the trunk of a car partially submerged in a lake in the area of Malauka Loop on April 1. The girl with gunshot wounds was also pronounced dead at the scene.
Woods believed the shootings occurred around the same time because all six juveniles were in the same vehicle at some point.
Court documents showed that two witnesses told police officers they heard gunshots and saw a vehicle drive into a dumpster, where one of the girl victims was found.
Authorities Offer $10,000 For Florida Teen Tahj Brewton's Information
The Marion County Sheriff's Office warned the public that Tahj Brewton should be treated as "armed and dangerous."
In a Facebook post, the sheriff's office announced that a reward of up to $10,000 would be given for information leading to the capture of Brewton, Newsweek reported.
The U.S. Marshals Service has given a reward of up to $5,000, and another $5,000 has been offered by the Florida Sheriff's Association Criminal Apprehension Assistance Program.
Carjacking with a firearm, grand theft of a motor vehicle, aggravated assault, fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, and tampering with an electronic monitoring device are just some of the felony offenses for which the Florida teen is wanted for, apart from the triple homicide, according to investigators.
