Robert Kirkman, "The Walking Dead" comic book creator, recently dished about the AMC show's upcoming fifth season.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Radio, Kirkman, who also executive produces and writes for the AMC show, confirmed that Season 5 will deal a lot with Terminus.

"There's a lot going on with Terminus," Kirkman said. "In our premiere episode of Season 5, we're going to give a ton of answers of who the people of Terminus are, what they're doing, why they're doing it, what's going on with them."

Terminus has been a mystery driving fans wild, but Kirkman promises that answers will come in Season 5, Episode 1.

"By the end of that episode, you're going to have a much better understanding of what's going on with them and why they're so important to the show," Kirkman said. "Oh, and Daryl [Dixon] dies."

Kirkman also said he still has plenty of "The Walking Dead" comic books to write. Does this mean the AMC TV adaptation will run just as long?

"I'm still doing the comic and plan in doing it for many, many years, and right now the issues that we are doing as we speak is material that could be adapted into a Season 10, 11 or 12 depending on how we adapt things," Kirkman told the radio station. "We're not stopping. So five years from now, we'll be doing comics that could be for Season 15."

Although there will be plenty of storylines for the show to tackle, Kirkman is still conservative with his goals.

"Now, it's unrealistic to think it can go for that long, but if the show remains successful, the potential is there for that," he said. "All that said, I'm just hoping and praying we make it to Season 7."

Season 5 of "The Walking Dead" begins in October.
