Texas Woman Sarah Hartsfield Accused of Murdering Husband With Insulin Poisoning
One Texas woman, identified as Sarah Hartsfield, is now facing another murder case after she was accused of killing her fifth husband with insulin poisoning.
Hollywood Unlocked reported that Hartsfield is being accused of injecting her 46-year-old diabetic husband with a large amount of insulin. She was then accused of waiting four to six hours before deciding to call 911 for help.
Her husband was identified as Joseph Hartsfield. The Texas woman was a retired Army sergeant living in Chamber County, Texas.
The victim's glucose monitor had been sounding off an alarm for a while before his wife finally made a move to check on him and call paramedics to professionally administer aid, according to Chamber County Sheriff's Office officials.
Hartsfield was then arrested and imprisoned in the Chambers County Jail after the incident in March.
It would have to be ruled that her last husband died of complications from the toxic effects of insulin.
Investigators then decided to reopen the investigation on the previous murder case that Hartsfield faced.

Texas Woman Sarah Hartsfield Murder Probe
Sarah Hartsfield was previously married to David George in the summer of 2019. She was then accused of murdering her ex-husband.
Officials in Minnesota then reopened the case regarding the fire and the death of George's partner.
NBC News noted that Hartsfield was indicted on a murder charge in the death of her husband in February.
Todd County Sheriff Michael Allen said in a statement that the investigations are active again due to "new information."
The retired Army was already married in her previous relationships. The sheriff then decided to probe the case about those four earlier marriages.
The official claimed that everybody "wants out of it because they fear for their life."
It was not clear whether the newly reopened cases have any connection to the shooting of her fiancé, with the target of the investigations still unclear.
Sarah Hartsfield Partners
One of Hartsfield's former partners was Titus Knoernschild. He met her when he was a junior at a mall town high school in Missouri in 1991 and was married two years later.
Knoernschild said that she appeared to threaten him when they were separating, saying that he was very "surprised" when he got out of the "marriage alive," as detailed by NBC News.
Hartsfield was also married to a Michael Traxler. He described their marriage as "super short" and was in a "rearview mirror."
Hartsfield son said that it was followed by a relationship with Ryan Donohue. They had four children and spent much of their time in Texas. However, Donohue filed for divorce.
Hartsfield then moved in with a new partner with her three children. It was David Bragg, who was fatally shot in their home northwest of Minneapolis.
It was the case that is being opened again as Hartsfield faces new murder charges.
