After his medical emergency, Jamie Foxx has finally broken his silence on his recent hospitalization, releasing his first public statement since getting hospitalized in Georgia three weeks ago while filming a Netflix movie.

In a post on social media, he posted a photo of himself with a message to fans and supporters, saying, "Appreciate all the love. Feeling blessed."

Variety reported that the "Django: Unchained" and "Annie" actor also thanked Nick Cannon for taking over his game show, "Beat Shazam" on Fox. Foxx is the executive producer of the game show, which is now in its sixth season.

He also co-hosts it with his daughter Corrine, who also serves as the game show's DJ. However, while the actor is still out and recovering from his medical emergency, Corrine is being temporarily replaced by Kelly Osborne. Jamie and Corrine Foxx will not be appearing in "Beat Shazam" during this entire season as the actor continues his recovery.

Reports say that Corrine is regularly seen at the Atlanta hospital where her father is currently hospitalized and is always by his side.

Jamie Foxx Remains Hospitalized as Recovery Continues

While he is recovering slowly and getting well wishes left and right, Jamie Foxx remains hospitalized. Those closest to him are asking for more prayers as he continues his medical battle.

According to TMZ, Foxx's exact condition remains a secret to the public and has been tightly guarded by his family. However, they still echo the same plea, and that is "Pray for Jamie."

When her father was hospitalized, Corrine Foxx stated on social media, "Luckily due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time."

Foxx was filming the Netflix movie "Back in Action" in Atlanta alongside the returning Cameron Diaz and legendary actress Glenn Close. His medical emergency did not happen during filming, but he was quickly rushed to an Atlanta hospital.

Filming continued despite Foxx being hospitalized, with stunt doubles reportedly being used as stand-ins for Jamie Foxx. Filming has also reportedly wrapped up.

Nick Cannon Said Jamie Foxx Is Doing Better

Back in April, Nick Cannon stated that his friend is doing "much better" and added, "You see, I posted on Instagram. I literally have been saying prayers out loud. Words of affirmation for my big brother."

According to Stylecaster, Foxx was hospitalized on April 12, with his scenes for "Back in Action" being cut the very next day due to the health scare. Tributes flew in, but by April 17, Foxx was still hospitalized.

For now, his family is urging more prayers for the "Rey" actor, saying he "needs all the prayers and well-wishes his fans can muster."
