Kanye West is moving forward with his 2024 presidential campaign, bringing back his former collaborator Milo Yiannopoulos but firing his controversial right-hand man, Nick Fuentes.

After getting back with Kanye's team as director of political operations for YE2024, TMZ reported that Yiannopoulos sent emails to Fuentes, an infamous white nationalist, and Stop the Steal organizer Ali Alexander informing them they were "terminated." 

"Your services on Ye's exploratory team are terminated... and will not be required for any possible future campaign," Yiannopoulos wrote in the emails obtained by TMZ.

Fuentes had accompanied Kanye during his trip to see Donald Trump in Mar-a-Lago last November, which entangled the former president in controversy.

On the other hand, Alexander was recently forced to apologize after being accused of asking for sexual photos from teenage boys.

Yiannopoulos confirmed to TMZ the details in the emails. He also claimed to have spent the past week in Los Angeles, discussing with Kanye about his plans to run for president.

Kanye West 2024 Presidential Campaign

After he failed to win in the presidential election in 2020 and received only 0.04% of the popular vote despite celebrity endorsements, including his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and billionaire Elon Musk, Kanye West is making a second run at the presidency in 2024, according to Forbes.

There have been a lot of stops and starts to Kanye's weird 2024 presidential campaign, and last month's report said the rapper seemed to be making no serious effort and just wanted to be "left alone," and his campaign does not appear to have collected any funds.

Adidas, Balenciaga, and other brands severed ties with the rapper last year after he made antisemitic comments and openly lauded Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, causing his financial empire to collapse effectively.

After Milo Yiannopoulos took credit for setting up the dinner at Mar-a-Lago with Kanye, Donald Trump, and Nick Fuentes, saying he did it "just to make Trump's life miserable" because he felt the former president was ignoring his alt-right supporters, the rapper fired him from his team.

Kanye's controversial interview with far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones last year was reportedly another reason why Yiannopoulos' was removed from the rapper's campaign team, with Yiannopoulos blaming Fuentes and Alexander for his dismissal.

Kanye West Still Unclear If He Already Filed His Paperwork for 2024 Presidential Run

Kanye West, also known by his legal name Ye, confirmed he will run for the 2024 presidential election while answering paparazzi questions last November. However, it was still unclear if he had already filed the basic paperwork to become a presidential candidate.

Kanye reportedly conceded during the 2020 presidential election after garnering 60,000 votes across 12 states. The results were not surprising, given the rapper's late entry into the race followed by a haphazard campaign.

He ran as an independent candidate under the "Birthday Party" banner. Kanye's vague platform promised to "reduce household debt" and restore prayer in schools. However, the actual policy side of his campaign seemed to lack details.

He even suggested bringing more "fun" back to the White House. Although he has conceded in the 2020 presidential election, the rapper previously said he will not give up on his dream to be the next US president and look forward to the 2024 election.
