After sharing a passionate kiss at Coachella, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes continued to show that love is indeed sweeter the second time around.

According to TMZ, the couple was spotted on a coffee date in New York City on Tuesday. They were reportedly holding hands and looking very happy as they strolled along the streets.

The rendezvous, which comes only weeks after the "Cinderella" actress and the "Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile" actor were last seen publicly together, is proof that they are still going strong after making out at Coachella.

Camila and Shawn dated for two years until they broke up in November 2021. As they announced their breakup on social media in a joint statement, they said that although they were ending their "romantic relationship," they would "continue to be best friends."

Rumors also swirled at the time that Shawn had shifted his attention toward Dr. Jocelyne Miranda, his chiropractor.

However, the rumors seemed to be not true as Miranda reportedly had a front-row seat for the dancing, hugging, and kissing between Shawn and Camila at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last April 14.

Earlier this month, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes were seen hugging as they greeted each other for a comedy show at Hollywood Improv in Los Angeles, Page Six reported.

They were also spotted chatting and smiling outside the venue. After the show, Camila and Shawn then went to the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, sparking further speculation that they had reconciled.

The week after their Coachella reunion, the exes were seen holding hands while strolling down Santa Monica Boulevard.

Adding fuel to the speculation that they got back together, Camila also posted on Instagram a series of photos that showed her Coachella experience. She wrote a cheeky caption saying, "It's whatever," which seemed to suggest a potential shift in their relationship status.

Shawn was not pictured, but many of Camila's fans mentioned her ex-boyfriend in the comments. Camila Cabello reportedly dated Lox Club CEO Austin Kevitch last year, but things had cooled down by February.

That same month, Shawn Mendes sparked romance rumors with "Nonsense" singer Sabrina Carpenter but later clarified that they were "not dating."

According to the source, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have spent time together both in groups and alone in the past few weeks, adding that they were seeing where things go.

"Having played the field for two years now, they both know now how special what they had was," the insider told the outlet.

"Not to mention that their sexual chemistry is off the hook. Camila turns Shawn on like no other woman. She always has," the source added.
