Morgan Wallen's son, two-year-old Indigo "Indie" Wilder Wallen, was involved in a distressing incident where he was bitten by a dog owned by his mother, KT Smith, according to Music Mayhem.

Smith, Morgan Wallen's ex-fiancée, shared the unfortunate news through a tearful video message on her Instagram stories.

In the video, Smith expressed her initial reluctance to bring the matter to social media but emphasized that her son deserved better.

She explained that on Father's Day, one of her dogs named Legend, a Great Pyrenees, was involved in an incident with Indie, resulting in him getting bitten in the face and requiring stitches.

KT Smith mentioned that they spent the morning of Father's Day at the emergency room due to the severity of the injury.

Smith further shared that they had been considering their options following the incident. Despite societal expectations and advice suggesting euthanizing an aggressive dog, she believed that Legend did not deserve such an outcome.

She acknowledged that he could thrive in a different environment, such as a family without small children and with ample land.

Smith expressed her desire to find Legend a suitable home without resorting to a kill shelter, particularly considering the current capacity issues many shelters face.

KT Smith Gets Bashed Following Her Instagram Video

After KT Smith's emotional plea for help in finding a suitable home for her dog, Legend, due to the horrific incident that hurt Morgan Wallen's son, she, unfortunately, faced online trolling and criticism, per the US Sun.

One individual accused her of prioritizing the dog over her child, which prompted KT to share a screenshot of the private message and address the negativity.

KT responded that she would filter out and ignore all hateful comments. She emphasized that being a mother means prioritizing the well-being of her child and finding a safe environment for the dog before reintroducing him to their home.

KT Smith explained that being a responsible dog owner involves ensuring that the dog is placed in an environment where it can thrive and where triggers that may lead to aggression toward children are absent.

She also mentioned that her management team would continue to handle her sponsored content postings despite going through a difficult time. This indicates that she is trying to fulfill her professional commitments while dealing with her personal challenges.
