An AMBER Alert was issued by the Parrish Police Department Monday evening following the reported kidnapping of an Alabama infant, according to WBRC.

The abducted child, Harlow Darby Freeman, is described as a 9-month-old white female with brown hair and blue eyes. The incident occurred at a residence on Crest Avenue at approximately 6:50 pm.

During the abduction, Freeman was wearing a tie-dye onesie and light pink shorts. Law enforcement officials have expressed concerns for her safety, indicating that she is believed to be in extreme danger.

Authorities believe the suspects may be traveling in a 2009 Lexus RX350 bearing Alabama license plate number 3880AR8.

The vehicle is described as having damage on the rear passenger side, which has been reportedly repaired with clear tape.

Alabama Infant's Parents Own the Vehicle Used by the Suspects

The mother of the abducted Alabama infant took to Facebook to share that her daughter was in her car seat in the back of an SUV when the vehicle, a Lexus RX350c, was stolen, per AL.

Authorities have not provided any specific details regarding the circumstances surrounding the kidnapping at this time.

However, Melinda Hutchison, the baby's aunt, said the baby was in the vehicle with her father when he briefly went inside a friend's house.

The father claimed to have been away for only a minute or so, and during that time, the SUV was stolen.

The family has announced a $5,000 reward.

AMBER Alert Sign Along I-95 Continues to Run After Missing 12-Year-Old Florida Boy Found

A billboard along Interstate 95 between West Palm Beach and Lake Worth Beach continued to display an AMBER Alert for a 12-year-old boy, even after the alert had been canceled, as per a WPTV report.

The AMBER Alert for Leon Scarborough was officially canceled on Saturday, as confirmed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in a tweet.

The FDLE explained that the initial call from St. Lucie County had reported a parental abduction, and it was up to the FDLE to determine whether to elevate the case to an AMBER Alert.

To issue an AMBER Alert, specific criteria must be met, including the child being under 18 years old, a kidnapping having occurred, the child being in imminent danger of death or serious bodily injury, and having a detailed description of the child and/or abductor/vehicle to broadcast.

When an AMBER Alert is issued, the FDLE disseminates the information through various channels, including the emergency alert system, lottery machines, highway signs provided by the Department of Transportation, text messages, emails, and social media platforms.

WPTV contacted OutFront Sign, the company responsible for the Amber Alert billboard, to inquire about the continued display.

However, there was no response provided at the time of reporting.
