Former president Donald Trump is also facing an election interference probe in Georgia, and a Georgia sheriff is warning him that he might actually have his mugshot taken this time, unlike his previous indictments.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is expected to drop indictments against the former president in August, and when this does happen, Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat says Donald Trump will have his mugshot taken.

When asked why he would be doing this, the sheriff answered, "First and foremost, we will follow our own policies and procedures."

He added, "We simply don't ... give any leniency just because of your status. Ultimately, there may be a court order that his lawyers may ask for, there may be some alternate ... processes around it, but we'll stay focused on our policies and procedures. And if a mugshot is warranted, we'll follow that policy and procedure as well."

According to The Independent, Sheriff Labat noted that the case is in Fulton County, where Atlanta is. Because of this, they get plenty of high-profile cases, and his Georgia election interference case will be no different.

"And so again, we treat everybody equally," he said.

The sheriff also stated that he took notes from Trump's previous arraignments, saying, "We've certainly learned from both New York as well as Miami. So, we've got a lot of different agencies involved."

Donald Trump Vows To Violate Protective Order in Federal Election Interference Case

The Georgia Election Interference case is running alongside the bigger federal criminal case where Trump was indicted and charged with over 30 crimes. After attacking the judge and Special Counsel Jack Smith, a protective order was requested, with Smith's prosecutors arguing that Trump might intimidate witnesses through his attacks on social media.

However, despite the protective order looming, Donald Trump is signaling that he will continue his social media attacks and violate that protective order.

"Crooked Joe now wants the thug prosecutor, this deranged guy, to file a court order taking away my First Amendment rights so that I can't speak...I will talk about it. I will. They're not taking away my First Amendment right," Trump said during a campaign stop.

According to Rolling Stone, Magistrate Judge Moxila A. Upadhyaya told Trump during the hearing that "it is a crime to try to influence a juror or to threaten or attempt to bribe a witness or any other person who may have information about your case, or to retaliate against anyone for providing information about your case to the prosecution, or to otherwise obstruct the administration of justice."

Trump reportedly affirmed that he understood the judge's warning during his hearing on Thursday, yet in public, Trump continued to threaten not just the judge and the special counsel but also potential star witness Mike Pence, Trump's vice president.

Chris Christie Fires Back at Donald Trump

While out campaigning, Trump also attacked former New Jersey Governor and GOP presidential nomination rival Chris Christie, calling him a "fat pig," However, Christie is firing back.

"If you had the guts you would show up to the debate and say it to my face," said the former New Jersey governor, who remains one of the loudest Trump critics in the Republican party.

According to The Independent, Trump had been focusing on Christie's weight in his attacks. However, he could not answer the former governor's criticisms of Trump's policies and current court cases.
