Pop star Demi Lovato has officially parted ways with her manager Scooter Braun, ending a professional relationship that began in 2019, according to sources confirmed by Variety.

The decision, described as mutual and amicable, comes as Lovato is gearing up to release her latest album, "Revamped."

The split announcement arrived shortly after Braun posted a birthday message for Lovato on his Instagram, referring to her as "one of the kindest souls out there."

However, representatives for both Lovato and Braun declined to provide further comments on the matter, as reported by Billboard.

Lovato's current move to seek new management coincides with the upcoming release of her album "Revamped."

The album features re-recorded rock versions of her previous hits from the early stages of her career.

The singer's previous album, "Holy Fvck," demonstrated a notable shift towards a rock-oriented sound and reached the No. 7 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Under Braun's guidance, Lovato released two albums, the rock-leaning "Holy Fvck" and the more pop-oriented "Dancing with the Devil... the Art of Starting Over," which was unveiled in 2021.

Throughout her time working with Braun, Lovato was true about her struggles with substance abuse and mental health, issues that Braun actively supported.

In an Instagram post, Lovato expressed her excitement over the collaboration, stating that "dreams came true" with Scooter Braun's involvement in her career in 2009.

Ariane Grande Leaves Scooter Braun, Too

In a surprising parallel development, Ariana Grande, another of Scooter Braun's clients, has also parted ways with the manager, as reported by Billboard.

Grande's association with Braun's SB Projects dates to 2013, during the release of her debut album "Yours Truly."

The split comes as Billboard also confirmed Lovato's departure from Braun's management.

Grande's career under Braun's guidance has seen tremendous success, marked by a series of No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 and numerous chart-topping hits on the Billboard Hot 100.

The singer's latest project includes a deluxe digital release of "Yours Truly" to commemorate its 10th anniversary, as well as upcoming live performances and involvement in the musical film adaptation of "Wicked."

Scooter Braun's Troubles With Taylor Swift

Scooter Braun became embroiled in a public feud with pop superstar Taylor Swift in 2019, The Independent said.

The feud ignited when Braun acquired Big Machine Records, Swift's former label, and the rights to her first six studio albums' master recordings.

Swift vehemently criticized Braun's ownership of her music and the sale of her masters to an investment fund for over $300 million in 2020.

The artist subsequently announced her intention to re-record her albums to regain control and ensure the new owners do not profit from her catalog.

Scooter Braun's team disputed Swift's claims, while he acknowledged the situation as a "learning lesson."

In an interview with NPR's Jay Williams, Braun expressed regret over if the deal would lead to a cooperative business relationship.
