BTK Killer Dennis Rader's Twisted Drawings, Journal, Released as Police Continue Investigation Into Serial Killer's Other Possible Victims
As police continue investigating several other possible victims of the BTK Killer, Dennis Rader, authorities released never-before-seen drawings from the notorious serial killer himself.
The Osage County Sheriff's Office released these images depicting three different women who are bound and gagged inside what seems to be barns. Investigators believe the women were tortured and killed in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri.
BTK stands for "Bind, Torture, and Kill," and this has become Rader's modus operandi as he went about his decades-long killing spree undetected by many in law enforcement.
According to The Independent, these drawings were recovered by investigators back in 2005. Hundreds of Rader's drawings were recovered, along with some of his writings that shed light on the serial killer's twisted mind.
Now, however, the man known to be one of America's most notorious serial killers is facing a new investigation looking into whether Rader had other victims, as Osage County Sheriff Eddie Virden is looking into cold cases that may involve the BTK Killer.
Currently, Dennis Rader, now 78, is serving 10 consecutive life sentences after pleading guilty to 10 murders in 2005. However, police now believe he may be responsible for more than that.
As Latin Post previously reported, authorities believe he may be responsible for the 1976 disappearance of 16-year-old Cynthia Dawn Kinney in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, as well as the 1990 murder of 22-year-old Shawna Beth Garber in McDonald County, Missouri.
Police Trying To Identify Barns Featured in BTK Killer Dennis Rader's Drawings
Sheriff Virden recently interviewed Rader, who told him that he did not commit any other murder aside from the 10 killings he confessed to. However, law enforcement is now looking into the barns and silos that Rader drew regarding his twisted fantasies.

"We're hoping that releasing these, someone might recognize one of these barns or the unique features in them, or the closeness of the silo to the barn or possibly might have even found items that they didn't know why were there that could be very important in this case," said the sheriff in an interview with CNN. "Even if the barn's not there anymore. We would still like that information."
Rader has a fascination with barns, as reflected in his drawings. It included a "young female gagged and bound at her arms and legs" while sitting on top of a baler of hay. Another showed a different young woman being bound and gagged with some wooden slats in the background.
BTK Killer Dennis Rader's Writings Inside His Journal Also Revealed
Rader's daughter, Kerri Rawson, gave police the serial killer's journal, which contained not just his drawings but also some of his thoughts. In it, Rader wrote his twisted bathroom fetish and what happens when he watches his victims before trying to capture them, binding them, torturing them, and then killing them.
"I would watch near the Laundry Mat for possible victim," Rader wrote in his journal. "Laundry Mat were a good place to watch victims and dream." The US Sun noted that he also shared some of his most depraved thoughts in that journal, writing, "Sometime[s] I have a pair of women's underwear on and after watching a girl or lady retrieve myself in the bathroom with masturbations thoughts."
