Donald Trump Co-Defendant Jenna Ellis Turns On Ex-POTUS, Calls Him a 'Malignant Narcissist'
Jenna Ellis, who previously served as Donald Trump's election lawyer and now is his co-defendant in Georgia, has turned on the ex-president and vowed to never vote for him again. She also blasted the man she used to defend on a daily basis on TV, calling him a "malignant narcissist."
"I simply can't support him for elected office again," Ellis said during an interview with the conservative Family Radio, a right-wing evangelical network. "Why I have chosen to distance is because of that frankly malignant narcissistic tendency to simply say that he's never done anything wrong."
The 38-year-old embattled lawyer represented Trump during his 2020 election loss. She is also one of the 19 co-defendants in the sprawling Georgia RICO case as she was implicated in Donald Trump's attempts to illegally overturn the results of the 2020 elections in that state.
The former Trump lawyer was charged with violating state anti-racketeering laws and solicitation of violation of an oath by a public officer, according to The Guardian. She was granted $100,000 bail and pleaded not guilty to those charges. She is currently facing some financial trouble, much like Trump's other former lawyers, and tried to get the former president to help with her legal fees but he refused.
Jenna Ellis Questioned Why Donald Trump's MAGA Pac Won't Pay for Her Legal Bills
Much like co-defendant Rudy Giuliani, she has also complained that the former president has not paid her legal fees. She and other co-defendants have tried to get some crowdfunding going in order to pay for her mounting legal bills.

She slammed the decision to not pay for her legal bills on X, tweeting, "I was reliably informed Trump isn't funding any of us who are indicted." Ellis, who was personally sought out by Trump after seeing her defend him on TV, added, "Would this change if he becomes the nominee? Why then, not now? I totally agree this has become a bigger principle than just one man. So why isn't MAGA, Inc. funding everyone's defense?"
Much like Trump, Ellis has been facing mounting legal problems. Earlier this year, she admitted in court that she also made statements about the 2020 presidential election. This led to a judge ruling that she must be censured in public.
Twitter Gave Special Counsel 32 of Donald Trump's Private Messages
Meanwhile, on other Donald Trump cases, X, formerly known as Twitter, has now cooperated with Special Counsel Jack Smith and handed investigators at least 32 of the former president's private messages.
According to The Guardian, prosecutors with the Special Counsel investigating Trump's election interference and his classified documents cases had received access to "some volume" of Trump's direct messages back in August. This was revealed after a filing o the US Circuit Court of Appeals was unsealed.
X had to comply to the warrant which was authorized by the court back in January oif this year. Then-known as Twitter, the company initially refused to comply and it had soon become a legal battle, which from what the filing suggests, the US government won.
