Actor Billy Miller, 43, renowned for his roles in soap operas like "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless," has sadly passed away, KTLA reported.

His manager confirmed his death, revealing that his 44th birthday was just around the corner on Sunday, September 17.

It was disclosed that the actor had been grappling with manic depression before passing.

Billy Miller's acting career was illustrious, encompassing more than 700 episodes of "The Young and the Restless" from 2008 to 2014 and nearly 600 episodes of "General Hospital" from 2014 to 2019.

He also appeared in other productions, including "Suits" and the film "American Sniper."

Notably, he received nominations for his significant roles in soap operas and clinched the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series on three occasions.

In addition to his thriving acting career, Billy Miller was involved in the restaurant business, owning establishments in Los Angeles.

He commenced his career with modeling and commercial opportunities, eventually securing a role on "All My Children" as Richie Novak. Subsequently, he became a soap opera star, portraying Billy Abbott on "The Young and the Restless" and Jason Morgan and Drew Cain on "General Hospital."

Billy Miller's remarkable performance in "The Young and the Restless" earned him three Daytime Emmy awards, including an Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and two for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

He also made appearances in various other TV series, such as "Suits," "Ray Donovan," and "Truth Be Told." His final credited acting role was a guest appearance on "NCIS" in 2022, said IMDb.
