Gisele Bundchen Makes Painful Admission on Divorce With Tom Brady, Family Situation
Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has been divorced from Tom Brady for almost a year now, and the former Victoria's Secret model has finally opened up about it in a recent interview.
She recently sat down with People Magazine for an interview, and the 43-year-old talked about homeschooling her kids for three years and also about her not drinking alcohol anymore. She also talked to the magazine about how meditation has helped her through all the difficult times.
Most importantly, Gisele also talked about her mental health problems, admitting that she overcame crippling panic attacks, anxiety and depression in her 20s. She added that over the last few years, she was also experiencing a tumultuous time and talked about how she got through them, as well as how she "centered herself and showed up even stronger for her family."
The Brazilian championed self-care in the interview, telling People Magazine, "No one is going to do it for you. The only person that's going to make those choices is you. Because ultimately, you're the first person who's going to be impacted by it. But then, it's your children, it's your husband, it's your family." She then reminded everyone, "You got to put the oxygen mask on you first."
She stressed that self-care is not selfish and that thinking that it is is not true, "It's not a selfish thing. People have been teaching us that it's selfish if you take care of you. How is that selfish?" she told the magazine. "When you feel good, you're a better mom, you're a better friend, you're calmer, you're more patient, you're more loving, you're more grounded. So you can't feel guilty about prioritizing yourself."

"And people even say, 'Oh, it's healthy for you.' Well, it is not healthy for me.
