This then resulted in fans going to the internet to poke fun at her for looking seemingly unhappy as Tay-Tay is getting all the love.

The viral photo showed that while Taylor Swift was enjoying the game with "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds, Brittany Mahomes was looking quite glum. As one X user tweeted, "she's sad she isn't getting the attention."

According to Marca, while some fans are finding the image funny, others expressed concern for the retired soccer star's well-being. "It looks like she's crying, I feel so bad for whatever happened and just wanna hug her," tweeted another user on X.

Despite her and Taylor being friends, initially bonding during a post-game party, Brittany Mahomes, a former soccer star and current Women's League team owner, has been painted by several fans as an attention seeker who is jealous of a megastar like Taylor Swift. However, many have rushed to defend her and calling the comparisons unfair.

Brittany Mahomes Was Seen Partying With Taylor Swift, Sophie Turner, and Blake Lively

While fans have pitted Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, against Taylor Swift. the former soccer star was partying seen with some A-list friends in New York City, including Taylor herself.

Joining the pair is actress Blake Lively, who was with Mahomes and Swift during the Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets game. Also joining the group is "Game of Thrones" star Sophie Turner.

The girls were spotted at the Italian hotspot, Emilio's Ballato, according to TMZ. Blake and Taylor arrived first, before Turner and Brittany Mahomes joined in. Swift has recently sided with Turner over her recent divorce battle with Joe Jonas.

Meanwhile, Blake Lively is a longtime friend of the singer while Brittany Mahomes seems to be the latest addition to her girl squad. Tay-Tay's BFF, Selena Gomez, was absent during their New York City night out.

Brittany Mahomes Getting Compared to Taylor Swift Since Rumored Travis Kelce Romance Began

Taylor Swift fans have been blasting Mahomes for "trying to one-up" Taylor Swift since late September when rumors of the singer dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce started popping up. This reportedly stemmed from a post by Mahomes on Instagram with the caption, "15" with a heart added. The post was about her husband, Patrick Mahomes.

However, some Swifties apparently took this the wrong way and blasted her for the post. Yahoo! Entertainment did point out that Brittany always posts photos of herself every time the Chiefs play in support of her superstar husband.

Never the less, the two seem to be friends and have been hanging out in public ever since they first met, which many fans say is an indication that there may not really be some jealousy involved.

As for Patrick Mahomes, he seems to be approving of his wife's developinmg friendship with Taylor.
