While Donald Trump loses his business in New York, the walls are also closing in on him in Georgia as prosecutors offer some of his co-defendants plea deals. This comes after Trump co-defendant Scott Hall flipped and pleaded guilty to his charges.

Fulton County prosecutors have been approaching several key defendants with plea deals. This is a common practice in cases involving the e Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (Rico) Act, with prosecutors trying to flip the criminals lower in the hierarchy to flip against their leaders in exchange for a lighter sentence or immunity.

According to The Guardian, the Fulton County prosecutors have so far managed to flip at least half of the fake set of electors in Georgia. Scott Hall, the Georgia bail bondsman who was caught in the Coffee County voting equipment breach, was the first Donald Trump co-defendant to actually flip. He will receive d five years of probation, a $5,000 fine, and 200 hours of community service.

In addition, Hall has also agreed to write an apology letter. He was charged with five counts of intentional interference of performance of election duties and pleaded guilty to all of them. He also recorded a statement to prosecutors. This would likely be used as evidence against former Trump attorney Sidney Powell.

Fani Willis Makes a Breakthrough in Georgia Case Vs. Donald Trump

Legal experts are calling Scott Hall's flip a major breakthrough in the RICO case against the former president as the plea deal requires him to testify against the other co-defendants. This may place the former president at risk as the Georgia bail bondsman conspiring with Trump's lawyer to interfere in the election.

Newsweek reported that the bail bondsman was a Republican poll watcher during the 2020 election. He is accused of trying to gain access to voting equipment in Coffee County and he admitted to traveling to the area to try to illegally breach voting equipment to look for evidence of a "rigged election."

With Hall's plea deal not including any jail time, it might entice the other Trump co-defendants to get the same deal and flip on the former president, making the case stronger against him and his top allies like Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell.

Georgia Prosecutors Want Top Donald Trump Adviser To Testify

While Georgia prosecutors now have the upper hand with their first flip, they also intend to call Trump adviser Boris Epshteyn as a witness to the trial against Donald Trump co-defendants Kenneth Chesebro and Sidney Powell.

According to Politico, Boris Epshteyn is one of six non-Georgia-based witnesses that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is attempting to summon to the state to testify. The trial for Powell and Chesebro will be the first for the Donald Trump Georgia RICO case and it kicks off on October 23.

Other witnesses include three Republican activists who were involved in the fake electors scheme in Nevada, Arizona, and Pennsylvania, Their testimony might reveal concerns regarding the legality of Chesebro's proposals about Chesebro's fake electors plan.
