Robin Williams has checked into rehab once again. But it's not because he has relapsed.

TMZ reports it is to maintain his sobriety.

Williams is in Lindstrom, Minnesota at the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center.

The center was opened in 1949, and the site's description says it "helps individuals, families, and communities struggling with alcohol abuse, and drug addiction transform their lives."

"Recovery support services," "prevention curriculum development" and "substance abuse treatment and alcohol rehab" are just a few of the ways Hazelden helps patients.

TMZ also shared a picture of Williams at a Dairy Queen, which was walking distance from the rehab facility.

Williams struggled with addiction in the past.

He kicked his cocaine and alcohol addiction in the 1980s, before the birth of his son in 1983. He was sober for 20 years before he relapsed. He went to rehab in 2006.

Now, it seems he is trying to take better care of himself.

"After working back-to-back projects, Robin is simply taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud," said Williams' rep to TMZ.

A few years ago, Williams opened up about about how he ended up needing help.

"I was in a small town where it's not the edge of the world, but you can see it from there, and then I thought: drinking," he said in a 2010 interview with The Guardian. "I just thought, hey, maybe drinking will help. Because I felt alone and afraid. It was that thing of working so much, and going f-ck, maybe that will help. And it was the worst thing in the world."

He reportedly didn't turn to cocaine, though, because he "knew that would kill" him. But it only took a week of drinking for him to realize that he was in trouble. But it took him about three years to get help.
