Donald Trump Georgia Election Case: Sidney Powell and Jenna Ellis Deposition Videos Leak; Show Incriminating Testimony Vs. Ex-POTUS
Donald Trump's former attorneys and now co-defendants in the Georgia election case, Sidney Powell and Jenna Ellis, spilled some damning testimony regarding their former client as shown in their leaked deposition videos where they admitted that the former president had no intentions of leaving the White House after losing the election to Joe Biden.
ABC News obtained videos of these leaked depositions and showed that their testimonies could be damaging to the former president. The two former Trump attorneys flipped on him in Georgia after pleading guilty to multiple crimes. As part of their plea agreements, neither of them are going to prison.
In her sworn deposition, Ellis told Fulton County prosecutors that senior Trump White House official Dan Scavino told her that "the boss" refused to leave the White House despite losing the election.
"And he said to me, in a kind of excited tone, 'Well, we don't care, and we're not going to leave,'" said Ellis, describing what the former Trump aide told her. "And I said, 'What do you mean?' And he said 'Well, the boss', meaning President Trump - and everyone understood 'the boss,' that's what we all called him - he said, 'The boss is not going to leave under any circumstances. We are just going to stay in power.'"
The conversation reportedly happened during a Christmas party held between Trump's inner circle, which was held on December 19, 2020. During that party, Ellis stated that she tried to warn Scavino that it would be illegal, but he told her, "We don't care."
As for Powell, she reportedly told prosecutors about her plans to seize voting machines nationwide and admitted that she had frequent communications with Donald Trump regarding this.
Powell During that leaked deposition, Powell reiterated her false assertion that Trump won the 2020 election. However, she acknowledged that she does not know much about election law, telling Fulton County prosecutors, "Did I know anything about election law? No, but I understand fraud from having been a prosecutor for 10 years, and knew generally what the fraud suit should be if the evidence showed what I thought it showed."

Leaked Sidney Powell and Jenna Ellis Depositions Could Spell Trouble for Donald Trump in Georgia
Ryan Goodman, a former special counsel for the Department of Defense, spoke with CNN and told the outlet that if prosecutors can prove Trump knew he lost the election and tried to overturn the results, it would be "Game Over" for him and added that the Jenna Ellis deposition could prove that.
"She's adding something that's golden evidence for prosecutors both in Georgia and in DC, which is, they don't have to prove this but if they can show that Trump knew he lost and was still trying to hold on to power, that's it." he said. ". That's game over. And that's exactly what she says is the context of the conversation."
Fani Willis Says Deposition Videos Leaked To Intimidate Witnesses
While the leaked depositions could mean trouble for Donald Trump, Fulton County DA Fani Willis was none too happy about the leaks, saying that her office did not leak the videos and that the only side that has them is the defense.
"These confidential video recordings were not released by the State to any party other than the defendants charged in the indictment, pursuant to the discovery process as required by law," she said in a filing obtained by the Washington Post. "The release of these confidential video recordings is clearly intended to intimidate witnesses in this case, subjecting them to harassment and threats prior to trial, constitutes indirect communication about the facts of this case with codefendants and witnesses, and obstructs the administration of justice, in violation of the conditions of release imposed on each defendant."
