Donald Trump Blasts' Unwatchable,' 'Total Loser' Robert De Niro After Criticism
Former President Donald Trump unleashed a vehement response on Sunday to actor Robert De Niro's scathing remarks aimed at him during the Gotham Awards ceremony last week, according to HuffPost.
De Niro, known for his outspoken criticism of Donald Trump, was surprised to discover that his anti-Trump comments had been edited from the autocue during his tribute speech for "The Killers of the Flower Moon."
Responding on his Truth Social platform, Trump fired back, dismissing De Niro as a "total loser."
The former president criticized De Niro's acting talents, claiming they had greatly diminished, and ridiculed his use of a teleprompter for delivering what Trump referred to as "foul and disgusting language, so disrespectful to our Country."
Donald Trump further lambasted the actor's impact on the Academy Awards, labeling him "unwatchable."
"He has become unwatchable both in movies and with the FOOLS that destroyed the Academy Awards, bringing them from one of the top shows in the Country to a Low Rated afterthought," the former president added.
The former president continued, suggesting that De Niro should redirect his focus to his own life, which he characterized as messy, instead of scrutinizing the lives of others.
Concluding the statement, the former president labeled De Niro as a "total loser," asserting that the world is watching, waiting, and finding amusement in the situation.
