Two months after revealing a previous facelift, singer Sia took to social media to share her plans for another cosmetic procedure, according to Too Fab.

The "Elastic Heart" artist explained the importance of honesty regarding these surgeries and opened up about her insecurities.

On this occasion, Sia is opting for liposuction, citing the necessity due to medication-induced weight gain that proves resistant to exercise or thyroid medication, as explained in her post.

On Saturday, Sia disclosed on Twitter that she was preparing for another cosmetic surgery procedure following the facelift she revealed two months ago.

The singer emphasized her commitment to transparency, expressing her desire not to contribute to a system that suggests people are not enough.

"When you see me looking crazy foxy again, I want you to know it did not come from diet and exercise," Sia said, acknowledging her privilege in opting for surgical solutions.

She emphasized the need to be truthful about her procedures, challenging societal norms.

"I want to be truthful about all of my procedures, so I don't contribute to the system that tells us we aren't enough," said the pop star.

The artist admitted to having insecurities, particularly amplified by being in the public eye. Sia, known for concealing her face with an oversized wig, highlighted the impact of being constantly scrutinized.

Sia's History with Cosmetic Procedures

This is not the first time Sia has openly discussed undergoing liposuction. In 2021, she revealed during an interview that insecurities led her to undergo liposuction on her chin twice, mistakenly thinking she had a double chin.

She also acknowledged a botched liposuction procedure on her stomach, attributing it to her past insecurities, PEOPLE noted.

"I was so insecure," she said, adding that she also had a botched liposuction procedure on her stomach. "I did that to myself because I was so insecure, and finally, I'm stopping doing any of that."

While presenting an award to plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei at the 5th Annual Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles on October 1, Sia openly shared that she had undergone work by the award-winning doctor.

She praised the facelift she received, commending Dr. Talei for his incredible work, not just for celebrities but for all. Sia expressed her satisfaction, stating, "I love him; I can't say enough good about him."

Sia Used To Hide Her Face

Sia, who rose to fame with hits like "Cheap Thrills," explained in 2015 why she chose to hide her face from the public eye.

She expressed a desire to avoid fame and criticism about her appearance on the internet as per Page Six.

Having worked in the music industry since the late '90s, Sia built a reputation writing songs for renowned artists like Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Britney Spears.

Moreover, Sia decided to hide her face in the past to keep a private life.

"I just wanted to have a private life," Sia explains in a 2014 interview with "Nightline,' sharing instances of unwanted attention, including an incident when someone interrupted a conversation with her friend, telling her they had cancer, to request a photograph with her.
