Texas: Missing Pregnant Teen Savanah Nicole Soto and Boyfriend Found Dead After Days of Searching
Savanah Nicole Soto, the missing Texas teen who was the subject of a massive search, has been found dead along with her boyfriend Matthew Guerra, who was also reported missing. The two were found inside a vehicle at the Colinas Medical Apartments on the northwest side of San Antonio, Texas.
The Leon Valley Police Department spoke with CBS News and told the outlet that the missing teen, Soto, and her boyfriend, 22, were reported missing by her family and were last seen on Friday, December 22. Her family revealed that she went missing just a day before she was scheduled to be induced into labor.
However, the police revealed that the vehicle that they were found inside belonged to Guerra and that each of them suffered from a gunshot wound. Police did not reveal their respective causes of death, but San Antonio Police Chief Bill McManus admitted that they were dealing with a "very, very perplexing crime scene."
The police are now looking into the possibility of homicide, with Police Chief McManus stating that Guerra's car might have been at the location where police found it "possibly for three or four days." It was Soto's family that alerted authorities to the car's location after being alerted by someone who found the vehicle.
Soto's family was devastated by what the police found, with her grandmother, Rachel Soto, telling a local CBS News affiliate, "I just want answers to who, what and why - why did this happen to her?"
Texas Teen Was Already 9 Months Pregnant When She Disappeared
The pregnant teen was last seen inside her apartment in Leon Valley. Authorities stated that she was in "imminent danger" and that she "involuntarily disappeared." She was already 9 months pregnant at the time she went missing and was about to be induced.

According to the Daily Mail, many blamed her boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, for her disappearance, as he was missing, too. However, his mother denied these accusations, saying, "I know my son and he wouldn't do anything to hurt her."
The San Antonio Police Department and the Leon Valley Police Department are currently working together but have been so far stumped. Reports indicated that Soto's body was found in a "bad condition" and that investigations into the Texas couple's deaths are still ongoing.
Missing Teen's Mother Says Boyfriend Abused Her Before They Went Missing
Members of the missing pregnant Texas teen recently spoke with CBS News and it was her mother who revealed that Guerra used to abuse her when they were still alive.
"And I told her to get out of the relationship, but she - she was hard-headed, she wouldn't listen. But I think this time she was going to leave him already. That's what I'm hearing," Soto's mother said.
The Texas teen's aunt backed this up, telling the outlet, that the couple "would fight a lot," and added that Guerra "would hit her throughout her pregnancy" because they found bruises in her.
