The Jeffrey Epstein list has been released, and it features some very big names, from former Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton to Prince Andrew and some other big names like prominent litigator Alan Dershowitz, billionaire Glenn Dubin, modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel, and fashion CEO Les Wexner.

However, as the Associated Press pointed out, the names mentioned in the 40 documents released by the New York court have already been known. It includes not just Epstein's associates and high-profile friends but also his victims and those who testified against him.

When the judge made the call to release the "Jeffrey Epstein List," she revealed that she was doing so because much of the list had already been made public, such as Prince Andrew and Glenn Dubin.

It also includes some of the victims, like Epstein's accuser, Virginia Giuffre. Her lawsuit is where the list came from in the first place.

Despite this, however, the imminent release of the Jeffrey Epstein court documents still prompted some misinformation, including New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who joked that late-night host Jimmy Kimmel's name might appear on the list. However, it never did, and Kimmel has threatened Rodgers that he might sue.

The list is still at the tip of the iceberg, though, as more court documents, around 250 of them, are expected to be released in the future.

Released Court Documents Reveal Big Names on the 'Jeffrey Epstein List'

Aside from Clinton, Trump, and Prince Andrew, the recently-released Jeffrey Epstein list also dropped the names of some celebrities, including magician David Copperfield and the late Michael Jackson.

As for Prince Andrew, a deposition of Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell revealed the royal did visit Epstein's island in the US Virgin Islands. She admitted that she was there during one of the visits of the British prince.

The documents, obtained by The Guardian, also showed one of the victims, Johanna Sjoberg, whom Maxwell allegedly procured for the purpose of performing sex acts on Epstein, admitting she met Michael Jackson, David Copperfield, and Bill Clinton. Sjoberg also admitted she heard Epstein calling Donald Trump about spending the night at one of his casinos,

"Jeffrey said, Great, we'll call up Trump and we'll go to - I don't recall the name of the casino, but - we'll go to the casino," she testified. However, she admitted that she did not give Trump a massage.

Lawyer Alan Dershowitz Says Being Named in the 'Jeffrey Epstein List' Has Him 'Guilty by Association'

One of the people named in the list is prominent litigator Alan Dershowitz. He reacted to being named on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "The Epstein list and guilt by association."

He also reacted to the list by appearing on Fox News.

"The woman who accused me has now stated categorically that she may have misidentified me continuously with someone else. ... I never met her, never heard of her, never spoke to her," Dershowitz said.
