Taylor Swift Gets Booed During Metal Band Disturbed's Concert, But Frontman David Draiman Defends Her and Tells Fans Off
Usually, metal rockers are not too fond of pop stars, but during a recent concert, Disturbed vocalist David Draiman defended Taylor Swift after their fans booed her.
Draiman admonished Disturbed fans during the Illinois leg of their North American "Take Back Your Life Tour" at the Peoria Civic Center last weekend. The incident happened after the rocker invited two dads and their 12-year-old daughters onto the stage.
"So I take it (the fact) that you came to the Disturbed concert, as opposed to the Taylor Swift concert, means that your parents are raising you on rock and roll," asked Draiman to the two girls, Ava and Chelsea. However, the boos happened after Draiman noted, "Hey, don't forget: Taylor Swift still kicks ass."
The rocker then went to Taytay's defense, admonishing his fans. "Don't you boo her," he said. "You know what? I will stand up and applaud any pop artist that gets up on stage and sings live and plays a guitar live in front of a whole group of f---ing thousands of girls and guys, young fans."
"Don't talk s--- about Taylor Swift. She is for real. And she's making sure that an entire generation of new music fans understand what it means to actually play music live," David Draiman added.
According to Planet Rock, footage of the Disturbed rocker admonishing his fans has gone viral, especially on TikTok, as the video of the incident has over 2 million views.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift Made Billboard History Again
While David Draiman was defending her, the popstar reached another historic record on the US Billboard album charts as, for the second time ever, a single artist has seven of her albums in the US Top 10 Album Sales Chart, and that is Taylor Swift.

Her latest album, "1989 (Taylor's Version)" continues to stay on top of the chart at #1, with two other albums, "Midnights" and "Folklore," taking the #2 and #3 slots in the Billboard chart.
Buffalo Bills Stadium Worker Praises Taylor Swift for Generosity
Taylor Swift has had a reputation for being a generous tipper, and even though she was cheering for the opposing team, a Buffalo Bills stadium worker was all praises for the Grammy-winning singer after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Bills in Buffalo.
"She's a sweetie pie. Very down to earth," said Jerris Rainey, a worker at the Highmark Stadium, home of the Buffalo Bills in New York. , "I just wanted to see her, and she, you know, she stopped, and she asked me if I worked at the stadium."
This was when Swift did something the self-admitted Swiftie did not expect and handed her a $100 bill before offering to have a selfie with her.
Taylor "asked if she could give me a tip. She gave me $100, and then she asked if I wanted to take a picture with her, and I said yes," said the Buffalo woman.
