Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is having none of her top rival, Donald Trump's antics, as he questioned why her husband was not with her during her campaign. The former South Carolina governor pointed out that her husband is currently abroad and on duty for the military.

"What happened to her husband?" Trump questioned during a campaign event in Conway, South Carolina. "Where is he? He's gone. He knew. He knew."

This was the comment that the former US ambassador to the United Nations pushed back against, with Nikki Haley responding with a tweet on X, posting, "Michael is deployed serving our country, something you know nothing about."

This was a direct jab at the former president infamously being a draft dodger, claiming he had bone spurs so that he would not be serving the US military during the Vietnam War. His bone spurs claim had since been debunked by the former president's own medical records.

As the Associated Press noted, Trump has been known to disparage his opponents based on their US military service, despite not serving the military himself and claiming he supports the military when the cameras are on.

Trump previously slammed gold star families who were critical of him, as well as questioned whether late US Sen. John McCain, is a war hero just because he was a prisoner of war, infamously saying that he liked "people who weren't captured."

As for Nikki Haley's husband, Michael Haley, has been serving in the South Carolina Army National Guard since June. He was deployed in the Horn of Africa as a staff officer with the 218th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade.

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp Warns Republicans About Donald Trump, Rebukes ex-POTUS

Meanwhile, over in Georgia, Republican Governor and Trump critic Brian Kemp slammed the former president in a speech about the country's political future, in what Politico calls an "implicit rebuke of Donald Trump."

"This election should be about results, not personalities. It should be about the future of our country, not a race to the bottom," the Republican governor said in a speech to students at Washington and Lee University's Mock Convention. "Because if this general election becomes a debate about who can outlast the other 80-year-old politician, the American people lose."

"I still believe we must put forward a positive vision for the future to the American people - and I think there is no better place to start than the success of Republican governors across the country," he added. While he did not name Trump directly, Kemp has been a strong critic of the former president since Trump tried to meddle in the Georgia election results.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump is spreading unsubstantiated claims if he sould lose to his possible 2024 general election opponent, Joe Biden, again. According to Yahoo! News, Donald Trump claimed Pennsylvania's name will change if he loses the state.

This seems to stem from historical sites honoring historical figures being renamed. However, there have been no moves to change the name of the state, with many of those sites named after historical figures being ones named after infamous Confederate figures who infamously committed treason against the United States during the Civil War.
