Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea Are Now Married: Couple Ties Knot on Super Bowl Sunday
Grammy-winning R&B sensation Usher, aged 45, has entered marital bliss with his girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea, 40, as the couple officially said "I do" on Super Bowl Sunday.
The joyous occasion took place at Vegas Weddings, just hours after Usher's electrifying performance during the Super Bowl halftime show, verified through Clark County Clerk's Office records reviewed by USA TODAY.
A Love Story Spanning Over Three Years
Jennifer Goicoechea, serving as the senior vice president of A&R at Epic Records, has been in a romantic relationship with Usher for over three years, according to Parade.
Their public debut was in 2019 when they were photographed together at the Hollywood Bowl. The couple shares two children, Sovereign, aged 3, and Sire, aged 2.
Usher, who has been married twice before, had two sons, Usher V and Naviyd, with his first ex-wife, Tameka Foster.
Following their marriage in 2007, Usher and Foster divorced in 2009. His second marriage to Grace Miguel in 2015 ended in separation in 2018 and eventual divorce.
Amidst the wedding preparations, Usher expressed his excitement about performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show during an interview with CBS' The Talk on February 8.
He highlighted the involvement of Usher V and Naviyd in shaping his setlist for the show.
Although the children won't be joining him on stage, Usher mentioned they would be present during his performance.
