Philadelphia Eagles center has officially announced Jason Kelce's NFL retirement after an illustrious 13-season career.

The 36-year-old, donning a sleeveless Eagles T-shirt, became visibly emotional during the 45-minute event.

The emotional atmosphere extended beyond Jason Kelce to his family, notably his younger brother Travis, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Video footage documented the emotional scene as Ed Kelce, the father of Jason and Travis Kelce, and Jason's wife, Kylie, were present.

The footage captured Travis Kelce wiping his eyes, and Donna, their mother, displayed teary-eyed emotions.

The press conference also touched on the emotional moment when Travis received the call and was drafted by the Chiefs, a poignant reflection on both brothers realizing their dreams, according to CBS News.

Jason Kelce, a seven-time Pro Bowler and six-time All-Pro selection, had to regroup at times as he shared his sentiments and experiences.

"It has always been a goal of mine to play my whole career in one city. And I couldn't have dreamt of a better one and a better fit if I tried," Kelce said.
