Missing Missouri Student's Last Location Caught on Camera
Police in Nashville are intensifying efforts to locate Riley Strain, a 22-year-old University of Missouri student who disappeared during a night out with friends on Friday, March 8.
Surveillance footage released by Metropolitan Nashville Police depicts Strain crossing a downtown street just before 10 PM when he went missing.
He was last seen wearing a black and brown shirt.
Missing Missouri student Riley Strain was allegedly asked to leave Luke Bryan's Nashville bar on Friday night, and there has been no contact with him since then, according to reports from Fox 17 Nashville.
Strain had traveled to Nashville with his fraternity brothers for a convention and intended to walk back to their hotel, the Tempo by Hilton, located approximately five blocks away.
Despite concerns about his level of intoxication, there were no hostile interactions reported by the bar staff.

Family's Account and Ongoing Search
Missing Missouri student Riley Strain's family remains deeply involved in the search efforts, Newsnation reports.
A few hours before his disappearance, he Facetimed his mother, Michelle Whiteid, from one of the city's venues, showing her that he was having a good time with friends.
"He and his buddy were having a good time, and he just wanted to show me that he was having a good time," Michelle Whiteid said.
Their close relationship meant they often spoke multiple times a day, and there was nothing unusual about their last conversation on Friday night.
After their call, Strain continued to send his mother texts expressing love and sharing pictures of his night out.
Upon learning of Strain's disappearance, his parents and stepparents rushed to Nashville.
Despite their efforts, the family remains uncertain about what happened to their son. They are relying on the police to gather digital evidence of Strain's movements after leaving the bar.
University of Missouri's Response
In a statement released on Monday, University of Missouri officials expressed solidarity with Strain's family and affirmed their commitment to assisting in the search.
Angela King Taylor, temporary vice chancellor for Student Affairs, emphasized the university's focus on community safety and announced support services available for students in need.
"The safety of our community is our highest priority," Taylor said. "Our thoughts are with Riley's family as the search continues. We will be offering any support to them that we can, and we encourage anyone who needs help to reach out to our counseling resources," she added.
Described as 6 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with and blonde hair, and blue eyes Strain is considered distinctive in appearance.
The Nashville Police Department provided a detailed description of his attire at the time of his disappearance, including a black/brown button-up shirt, blue jeans, brown boots, and a black Apple watch.
As authorities and loved ones continue the search for Missing Missouri student Riley Strain, the community remains hopeful for his safe return, People noted.
