The Metro Nashville Police Department announced Sunday the discovery of the bank card belonging to missing University of Missouri student Riley Strain near the Cumberland River.
Despite ongoing search efforts, Strain remains missing after being last seen in downtown Nashville, according to Fox News.
Strain, a senior at the University of Missouri, disappeared on March 8 while visiting Nashville with his fraternity brothers for a spring formal trip.
Surveillance footage captured him leaving Luke Bryan's bar downtown after being asked to leave for intoxication.
The missing Missouri student, standing at 6 feet 7 inches tall, was last seen walking alone along Gay Street towards the Cumberland River.
A member of Nashville's homeless community reported seeing Strain Stumble along Gay Street around 10 PM on March 8.
Despite efforts to locate him, the missing Missouri student's trail goes cold after this sighting.

Brandy Baenen, one of the TikTokers who discovered the card, explained, "I look more into cold cases, I guess, ones that are from like the 90s and the early 2000s that are unsolved, and I spend a lot of time digging into those and I'll actually privately message officers and stuff like that, going back and forth with that, but I lived 20 minutes away from this, and so once I heard it was happening and nothing was happening, Tuesday night, I came down here with my boyfriend and we were like, 'Let's go, let's go walk it, let's go walk it.'"
Despite the discovery, the search for Riley Strain continues, with volunteers and first responders combing through areas of interest, distributing flyers, and reviewing surveillance footage.
