On May 3, Attorney General of California Rob Bonta dispatched a delinquent notice on behalf of the Registry of Charities and Fundraisers to the Archewell Foundation, highlighting its failure to submit mandatory annual reports or renewal fees.

An unnamed source revealed that while the foundation filed its paperwork punctually, a remittance check was not received, People report.

The foundation became aware of this discrepancy upon receipt of the delinquent notice.

Subsequently, a replacement check has been dispatched via mail, with an expectation of resolution within the subsequent seven business days.

The foundation's registered address in Beverly Hills, California, is approximately two hours from the Sussexes' residence in Montecito.
