Jennifer Lopez has announced that she is canceling her summer concert tour that she was in the middle of. This happened while as rumors of her marriage with Ben Affleck being on the rocks have been circling for weeks. The news of the cancelation was confirmed by Live Nation which handles her concert tour.

The tour was supposed to be her first concert tour in five years and it was to support her first solo album in a decade, "This Is Me.... Now" and its companion film. It was supposed to begin in Orlando, Florida on June 26 and end in Houston on August 31.

"Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends," Live Nation told the Associated Press in a statement. The organizer added that those who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will have their money refunded automatically.

"I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary," said Lopez in a statement on her OntheJLo website and newsletter. "I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time..."

"This Is Me... Now" was released 20 years after she released her "This Is Me... Then" and has ushered in a comeback of sorts for the Latina singer and actress. However, she has decided that her family should come first amid rumors regarding her marriage with Ben Affleck heading to divorce.

With rumors circulating that she may be divorcing Affleck, she recently opened up about her past and her marriage with the actor with the Associated Press during a recent interview.

"Over the past few years, I tried to slow down more and be home more," she told the outlet, adding that she has "been doing things that are really exciting" or "inspiring" instead of just "doing just everything."

According to StyleCaster, this was all sparked after a source close to the singer-actress told US Weekly that she is already "worn down" by their marriage, adding that "Jennifer had started ramping up her work commitments and prepping for her tour" and that "She's very focused on work and overextends herself."
