Fox News is facing even more legal troubles, as not only is it facing a lawsuit from Smartmatic worth billions, but also a new one from Hunter Biden over revenge porn. The lawsuit stems from a now-taken-down program from its Fox Nation streaming service.

Lawyers for the presidential son revealed that Fox News, which has repeatedly reported one-sided news stories on him, targeted their client "in an effort to harass, annoy, alarm, and humiliate him, and tarnish his reputation."

"Far from reporting on a newsworthy event, Fox sought to commercialize Mr. Biden's personality through a form of treatment distinct from the dissemination of news or information," the lawsuit against Fox News read. "While using certain true information, the series intentionally manipulates the facts, distorts the truth, narrates happenings out of context, and invents dialogue intended to entertain."

The lawsuit also alleges that the miniseries "unlawfully publishes numerous intimate images (both still and video) of Mr. Biden depicting him in the nude, depicting an unclothed or exposed intimate part of him, as well as engaged in sex acts."

Fox News released a statement to The Hill and claimed that Hunter Biden's lawsuit against the network is "entirely politically motivated lawsuit is devoid of merit."

Back in April, the presidential son and his attorneys threatened to sue the right-wing propaganda network regarding the miniseries. This led to Fox News soon taking down the docuseries from its streaming service.

"This program was produced in and has been available since 2022," Fox News stated at that time. "We are reviewing the concerns that have just been raised and - out of an abundance of caution in the interim - have taken it down."

Fox News Broke New York Revenge Porn Laws with Docuseries, Hunter Biden Lawsuit States

The series, in particular, is the Fox Nation miniseries titled "The Trial of Hunter Biden: A Mock Trial for the American People." The suit alleges that the program showed explicit photographs of the businessman without his consent and thus violated New York state's revenge porn law.

Fox News published his nude photographs and videos as part of the series, and the lawsuit stated that the propaganda network "unlawfully published numerous intimate images (both still and video) of Mr. Biden depicting him in the nude, depicting an unclothed or exposed intimate part of him, as well as engaged in sex acts."

Fox News Appeals Smartmatic Lawsuit, Files Countersuit

The Hunter Biden lawsuit is not the only legal trouble that Fox News is in, it is also facing a massive one from voting machine company, Smartmatic, which is suing the network for its election lies after the 2020 election.

Before Hunter Biden filed his lawsuit, the network appealed a judge's decision to let voting systems company Smartmatic pursue a $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit against it. The network also countersued the voting machine company to recoup legal costs.

Smartmatic responded with its lawyer, J. Erik Connolly, saying, "It is ironic that Fox claims that Smartmatic's lawsuit is without basis" after that decision and that courts around the country reviewing similar claims "are saying something very different."

During the previous Dominion lawsuit, it was revealed that Fox News personnel knew that Donald Trump lost the election, yet it still proceeded to claim that the election was stolen.
