Selena Gomez's 2024 has been marked by immense success, including reaching billionaire status. Yet, for fans of La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, an exciting collaboration has emerged between Rene Camacho's band and Rare Beauty, Selena's makeup brand, that feels just as monumental.

In addition to dominating television with 'Only Murders in the Building' and the big screen with the acclaimed 'Emilia Pérez,' Selena recently starred in one of the most talked-about videos of the past few months alongside Venezuelan heartthrob Edgar Ramirez (sorry, Benny Blanco).

As part of a Mexican-American family, Selena remains connected to her Latino roots, but Rare Beauty's social media presence has taken that connection to a new level. The company, boasting over 7.5 million followers on Instagram and another 4 million on TikTok, dropped a mashup we didn't know we needed-and it has fans buzzing.

The post was a promotion for Rare Beauty's holiday collection. In the clip, a variety of beauty products from the brand are arranged in what looks like a dollhouse. However, the real surprise comes from the music-a snippet from the popular Mexican band 'La Arrolladora Banda El Limón.'

The catchy song, titled 'El Ruido de Tus Zapatos' kicks off with the lyrics, "I know you bite your nails and overthink things," offering a special nod to Rare Beauty's Mexican followers. The video also features a small bottle of Tajín amidst the makeup products, along with a photo of Selena and her boyfriend (and possible future husband) Benny Blanco.

 Fans wasted no time reacting, with overwhelmingly positive comments. One fan exclaimed, "Rare Beauty ILY & Banda Arrolladora" while another wrote, "I love you so much, Rare Beauty I can totally see myself doing my makeup with your products and listening to La Arrolladora."

Some users embraced the Mexican roots of both the brand and the band, commenting, "LOL, we love Rare Beauty-it's more Mexican than Mexicans." Others praised the mastermind behind the clever post: "Give whoever runs Rare Beauty's social media a raise ."

As Selena continues to succeed in her various ventures, she also recently announced her involvement in the sequel to 'Wizards of Waverly Place.' "All I can say is, you'll get to see where Alex Russo and the Russo family are 17 years later," she said in a recent interview.
