Disturbing new details of former 'Bachelor' contestant Gia Allemand's death have been released (Warning: may contain graphic details).

A New Orleans Police Department report given to ABC News states that on Aug. 12, Allemand hanged herself with a vacuum cleaner cord tied to a staircase in her apartment, after getting in a fight with NBA player boyfriend Ryan Anderson earlier that day.

According to ABC News, the report states that Allemand and Anderson had gotten into an argument hours before her attempted suicide, "over her suspicions of he having been unfaithful to her."

The report also states that Anderson told Allemand he didn't love her anymore when he dropped her off at her apartment around 6 p.m.

After receiving a text over an hour later from Allemand's concerned mother, Anderson returned to the apartment to find the cord wrapped around Allemand's neck multiple times, according to the report obtained by ABC News.

After a neighbor found Anderson holding Allemand and called 911, police officers reported the incident at 7:56 p.m.

According the report, officers witnessed EMT personnel perform CPR on Allemand, and found her notebook which read "Mom gets everything."

29-year-old Allemand died two days later at the University Hospital in New Orleans after being taken off life support, ABC News reported.

On the day she died, Allemand's family released a statement saying she was taken off life support "due to a critical loss of brain and organ function."

"Ms. Allemand passed away peacefully with her mother, boyfriend, and other life-long friends by her side," the statement read. "As a practicing Christian, Gia did receive the sacrament of last rites."

The former 'Bachelor' contestant appeared on Season 14 of the popular ABC reality series. She also was a contestant on ABC's 'Bachelor Pad,' and was featured in Maxim.

Allemand's public funeral was held yesterday at the Trinity Grace Church in New York City.
